I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone. When I first checked into my room, I noticed a bunch of things that weren’t clean. There was garbage in my garbage cans, there was shampoo all over the shower, and you could tell it was not clean at all. I went to have a shower and every single one of the bottles which you’re supposed to be shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all filled with shampoo. Our room was not clean the first two days we were there no towels no toilet paper no Kleenex. So we spoke to the front desk and saw them right down our name for the room to be cleaned the next day and we showed up again and it was not clean and we requested again for the following day and again it was not done. We were leaving the next day so we called down to the desk to let them know that we needed towels and toilet paper since we haven’t had any in five days and they sent a very grumpy man up to our room who just handed me a garbage bag, a pile of towels and a roll of toilet paper. He was cranky and it was a very unpleasant experience. We were paying US$300 a night for our room and honestly, this was horrible value for our money. Additionally, on the mornings when we attempted to go down for breakfast, we were there well over an hour before breakfast was over and there was no food left and when we spoke to the staff, they said they were not refilling it cause breakfast was almost over. They’re still an hour left. That’s not almost over. Worst hotel.

Very pleasant overnight stay

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The breakfast included in the price was excellent and exceeded expectations. We stayed here while attending a show at TD Garden. While this is about a 30 minute T ride each way, I feel the hotels in the center of Boston have become extremely overpriced. This hotel is only a few minutes walk from the North Quincy Red Line Station. We felt safe walking from the T to the hotel after 11PM. There is a 99 Restaurant located within a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Didn’t like surprise $15 charge for parking in hotel’s parking lot. Seemed unusual & unnecessary for a Holiday Inn Express. Didn’t recall seeing anything about it when I made reservation. Otherwise room itself is fine as was check-in experience. Area around hound is rather grungy…

I didn’t give 5 stars even though the receptionist and staff were very nice and helpful, because the cleaning service never came during our stay. We had to call down just to get fresh towels. There was also something blocking the shower drain, which caused flooding. Breakfast was underwhelming, with only one toaster available for bagels, and parking is $15 per night. They did refund me since I couldn’t find parking at the end of the night, needed to do street parking.

Housekeeping needs improvement or set guest expectations that the service does not include cleaning of the bathroom shower door and floor, bathroom floor and sink faucet. If housekeeping is just garbage pickup and towel replacements, please describe it as such.
