I am very impressed with the hotel manager, Gio. He’s considerate and helpful and one of the reasons I’ve booked there repeatedly-as well as an excellent and convenient shuttle service to the hotel just 10 minutes away from Logan airport.

As others have noted there’s not much to eat around here. Delivery from local joints look good, but close down by 10:30 pm. Domino’s delivers til 2 am. If you’re coming in late without a car, those are your options for anything beyond chips from the lobby.

Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating (grabbed me an apple when I asked for something fresh), and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a great variety and the coffee was delicious. My only snark would be that there were no instructions on where to catch the shuttle until we called from the Boston terminal - would have liked to have that info ahead of time. That said, the shuttle back to the airport was on time and quick. We'd stay here again.

Confusion around shuttle is our only complaint. We were told that it did not run until 6am. The listing says it starts at 4am. We came down early so we made sure we were on the 6 only to find a shuttle leaving at 5:30am. Worked out for us but caused us some grief. Also, the driver was very wreckless.

Our first time at an AVID. We really liked it. Easy check-in, clean rooms with all the amenities in the rooms (shampoo, body wash, etc), and we loved the ALL-DAY beverage station so we could have coffee, tea, or water any time of day. A lot of higher end hotels don’t even offer that. For a hotel near the airport, with people waking up very early and arriving at all times of the day, the all-day coffee station is a great thing.
