everything was satisfactory about this hotel except for one thing: the incredibly noisy air conditioning/heating window unit. It must've woken me up at least a half a dozen times during the night.

Dubious cleanliness - there was hair on the sheets and I wasn’t sure if the sheets had been changed in the room since they also seemed pressed down on the mattress… also, noisy! Constant sound of trains and machinery and what sounded like car alarms. Bathroom was clean and the water was hot. Breakfast was fine. Staff was nice.

I stayed one night at the Hampton Inn in Boston. Check-in was smooth, and the room was nice, clean, and comfortable. However, I was disappointed to find an unexpected extra charge of $108.25 after check-out. I was not informed about this fee during my stay or at check-in, and it feels unreasonable to be charged for services I didn’t use. While the stay itself was pleasant, this unexpected charge left a negative impression.
