We arrived after being up all night and the room we reserved was not correct. We reserved a king bed and were told we were nit guaranteed that when that is what we paid for. The front desk agent was rude and lied to us. We booked somewhere else

The pool heater was not working, the entire hotel smelled like marijuana, The staff was very on organized and not welcoming

We didn’t feel safe to be honest. The suite was large, and the breakfast was good. The staff was friendly too. However, room smelled unclean, and heater smelled like was burning dust of a air filter that was never changed. Curtains had rips about 20 inches. Door to get into de room was half broken, even the staff could not open it easily.

After arriving six hours late due to a flight cancellation, we were just glad to still have a room. Unfortunately, we were placed in an extra large, wheelchair accessible room, which meant the bathroom and other furniture were spacious, but a little awkward. Not the hotel's fault, necessarily, but not ideal. With record heat in Boston, the AC made the room feel damp most of the time. Room service was excellent, and the front desk was very accommodating. We didn't eat the breakfast or use any of the amenities, so no comment. It's super easy to get from Logan Airport to "Peebudy" (it's not "Pea-Body," you out-of-town loser), and back again straight up Highway 1, but you can only access the hotel from one side of the road, so watch for it and the U-turn lane at the light. Local restaurants, shopping and gas stations close by. Area is well lit and safe. Hotel building is ok, but the property needs a good sprucing up.

Clean rooms, and the breakfast was delicious. Our check in and check out went very smoothly.

I booked 6 rooms for family this past weekend, to my surprise one of our rooms was infested with a rats' nest. Maybe the rooms should be inspected for pests before being sold an outrageous price per night. Anyways, I had to report the room contaminated, and was not given a refund since I booked through Orbitz. Orbitz provided me excellent customer and refunded me one room. I do not recommend nor will I make any future bookings at this location.

Ok seems to be the standard for reviews here. Thats it, just ok. Theres a reason this dated, basic, tired old hotel has vacancy when others are full.

A safe place to stay. Clean - but in need of some upgrades. My room key maybe worked 60% of the time. Instead of hotel staff checking the door they just kept sending me back up with recharged cards. Even the cleaning staff couldn’t get in.

The hotel is a bit run-down. Much of it looks a bit dreary. The rooms are clean, spacious and have good amenities. The breakfast was a very nice buffet. More than I expected for this brand. My only complaint was that earlier in the evening, no one answered the phone despite my several calls - to inform staff that I would be arriving late. I finally got through and the attendant assured me that they would not give up my room. Otherwise, I was pleased with my stay at the Holiday Inn Boston Peabody

Hotel is in a nice location north of Boston. Came for a wedding in the area and got around quite easily from this location. Nice staff, clean hotel.

Poorly maintained hotel; not worth the price. Staff not friendly or helpful. No comfortable chair in room. The hallway reeked of marijuana but it's a non smoking hotel? Won't be back.

We are a non smoking hotel, although Massachusetts laws does not prohibit guests from smoking outside of the hotel. Our pool heater is working, and guests have been enjoying the pool. We did reimburse one night's room and tax for the misinformation given on the night of the 7th.

We are so sorry to hear about these things. We can assure you that safety is our top priority for both our guests and staff. We also pride ourselves on cleanliness and the heater's filters are cleaned at least once a week. We will take a look at our suites today to check the doors and curtains. Thank you very much for providing us with this feedback. We do have a renovation later this year and would love to have you back to see the improvements.

We are so sorry to hear about your stay. We can assure you that we do not have any rats on property. We did have an issue with mice recently due to the construction going on next door to the property. We have addressed this to ensure it does not happen again. We hope that the next time you're in town you'll give us another try.
