Excellent .clean. lazy pool closed. Was ezspensive For not being able to use hot tub or lazy pool

Did not start out great but quickly got corrected by the manager on duty at the front desk the morning of 1/19/2019. Very professional young man and catered to the comfort of his guest unlike others at the desk who seemed to think third party bookings are not priority and booking through a third party reduces the courtesy extended to the guest. Well done sir!!

Entrance congestion Staff on two mornings entered room without waiting for response from knock Health Club- hotel relationship not a tight as it should be; nice amenity but must be synched better, e.g. each had own version of hours. Housekeeping failed to replace consummables each day such as water glasses & coffee cups; always seemed to be short a towel or two. Hall in front of room door not vacuumed the fours days I stayed... same crumbs/ sand On the plus side the earm cookies each night was a nice comfort item.

Staff super nice. Food great. Clean rooms. A little hard to find on our way from airport.

Fantastic, easily slept my family of six. Toddler beds with their own TV was a big hit with the kids.

We were in the older part of the hotel, but it was nice. Friendly staff. Restaurant has good food. Rugs in room had large stains and little flies. Over all great sleep and nice hotel.

Staff was rude at the front desk, breakfast and Tradewinds. Needs to be updated a bit. The room was ok and comfortable if you are just there for sleeping. Decent location depending on what you want to do. Close to Boston, Salem, Newburyport and a little farther out is Portsmouth.

The hotel is gorgeous and in a very spacious location. It offers a lot of various activities and has a very nice pool. Only thing that ruined it for me was we requested a room for 6 people and we had paid for the room with two double beds and two children beds. My children were very excited to be able to sleep in their own beds, except we didn't have the choice. We were stuffed into a room with two double beds and that was it. For some reason, we got swapped into a smaller room to accommodate someone else. We arrived very late because of our trip from Virginia to Boston, expecting a comfortable room and to fall asleep. But nope, we had to request a rollover bed that barely fit into our room and one of us had to sleep on the chair as the bed could only fit one person. We were also told they would move us to the bigger room the next day as we are there for two nights, but nothing happened. They said they would call our room or our cell phones and we received no call. We didn't bother asking because we knew they wouldn't move us and why would we want to lug our things around to another room for one night? At checkout, I requested some sort of refund for our disappointment but were given none as we were told we had to call orbitz or some other number. That is an extra hassle we have yet to do. Otherwise the hotel was clean, pretty, and would have been perfect if it was only four of us.

When I checked in, I felt because I had booked with Orbitz, they really didn't care. I wasn't given much information about the area. The registration area was very small and it only could fit one car at a time. It was a maze to find our room. There was not a direct route, we literally were walking around twists and turns for a good 10 minutes. The room itself was very cramped and not spacious. The air conditioner in the room has some kind of leak. The carpet all around the unit was soaking wet. It was gross! The location of the hotel was also an issue. It was not easily accessible from the interstate. We booked here hoping it would be a quick ride to downtown, but it was very complicated and time consuming. We were not impressed with the hotel or the location.

Although the hotel description doesn't really mention it, this hotel has a very high end fitness center with separate cardio area. It's attached to an indoor water park, which is great for kids, but adults will be pleased to know that the hotel has great indoor pool suitable for laps, hot tub, steam room, and sauna.

Booked a family room-the beds for our two adult children were small. Event across from our room kept us up until 1AM, as did the running of people up and down the hallway. Tried to extend our check-out until 11:30-couldn't because hotel too busy. Staff was very nice, but overall, hotel too pricey for what happened.

They don't give all the facts on website or times for waterpark. My son was heartbroken when we got their cause it was closed and not opened till the following night after we checked out! Plus extremely expensive to use their facilities! Which i thought was included in the price!!

The hotel was very nice but under renovation while I was there. I think it will be even better when completed.

Quick check-in, no hassle. Great staff, very friendly and accomodating. Room was spacious, clean and bed was very comfy. Perfect place to get away...so close and yet felt a world away.

For the price is supost have a breakfeast included.

SERVICE, first, called ahead for a roll-away to be placed in our room before arrival as requested on reservation, not done. Then, when when we left for our first day of activities we asked that the non-working phone in our room be repaired and 2 extra towels be sent up before we return in 8 hours, not done. Being a brand new Double Tree you will be the first to break-in their 20 year life expectancy mattresses. That's fine if you like sleeping on cement blocks with no cushions.

this hotel is attached to a large water resort, unfortunately arrived at 5 o'clock, check-in apparently was after 4, there was at least a wait of 2 hours to be checked in, we had to go and come back much later. I understand from the staff this is normal on a weekend, I feel they should at least have warned us, we were not there to go to the water resort, the hotel was absolutely full of screaming children

This hotel was terrible! We stayed there for a friends wedding which was at a nearby venue. They did not have our room ready until after 4:30 pm. We were put on the 2nd floor, which cannot be reached by elevator. When we finally found our room, our key did not work, and we had to go to the front desk who called maintenance, who then broke into our room for us. The room was not clean, and it was impossible to reach the front desk from the room phone.

We were dissappointed to find that the hotel was no longer a Crowne Plaza. Rough around the edges and dingy. Nice staff.

halloween holiday

We were in the older part of the hotel, but it was nice. Friendly staff. Restaurant has good food. Rugs in room had large stains and little flies. Over all great sleep and nice hotel.

Staff was rude at the front desk, breakfast and Tradewinds. Needs to be updated a bit. The room was ok and comfortable if you are just there for sleeping. Decent location depending on what you want to do. Close to Boston, Salem, Newburyport and a little farther out is Portsmouth.

could have been great if given room i paid for.

The hotel is gorgeous and in a very spacious location. It offers a lot of various activities and has a very nice pool. Only thing that ruined it for me was we requested a room for 6 people and we had paid for the room with two double beds and two children beds. My children were very excited to be able to sleep in their own beds, except we didn't have the choice. We were stuffed into a room with two double beds and that was it. location not so great...
