Upon checking into our room, we noticed a strong, damp odor. We noticed our carpeting was saturated with water. We notified the front desk. The front desk apologized, and confirmed the building absorbs large quantities of water during rainfall. We subsequently noticed the ceiling was peeling and beginning to rot. We also noticed the HVAC vents contained black mold spores. We also noticed food trays were left in the hallways for several days, and not retrieved by hotel staff. We also noticed several dispensers in the restrooms were cracked or broken. While we understand not all stays with Hyatt can be perfect, this was remarkably disappointing. The basic integrity and weatherproofing of the building has failed, and the black mold presents a severe risk to guests. As a result of the above, I am requesting a full refund for my stay at this Hyatt location.

The room was spacious but definitely outdated. The couch cushions were slipping off the couch and bathroom had cracks. The beds were comfy but the pillows were way too soft.

When I plugged my phone charger into the wall, it would not charge unless the wall switch was flipped up. This should not be. On the plus side, Ramona in the breakfast area was so kind, friendly and hospitable. I would come back just for Her. A nice smiling face to start your day.
Truly couldn’t believe how friendly and welcoming the breakfast hostess Rhonda was! We’ll go back sometime just to see her!
