Great swim in the pool at Lexington location
Queit, peaceful
They always had fresh berries, granola, plain yogurt, golden raisins, slivered almonds, milk, and almond milk for breakfast, but they were usually out of bowls. We were offered gallon-size serving bowls, but my daughters would not eat out of those. They always had bread, peanut butter, jelly, honey, half & half, coffee, tea, and more. They usually had orange juice, but sometimes substituted an orange drink. They always had pork breakfast meats, and they usually had scrambled eggs to go with it. They never had any non-pork meats. Sometimes, they had bagels, croissants, or pancakes. The pool smelled of chlorine so bad that we could smell it from the 1st-floor hallway. We walked in once to see what it was like, but we could not bear the chlorine smell, so we left immediately. We were supposed to have two queen beds, but we were told the A/C had just gone down in that unit, so they gave us a room with a king and a fold-out sofa for our first night. The mattress on the sofa bed was stained and smelly, so they came and changed the mattress. Though the duvet cover was clean, there was a blood stain on the duvet. For the rest of our stay, they moved us to a room with two queen beds. The bathroom door was very difficult to open & close because the bottom of the door scraped the threshold. The dishwasher was difficult to close because it was not bolted in place. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there were a lot of little quirks that we had to live with.
Shabby, not enough towels, bedding not ready
Great hotel, welcoming staff, clean and bright. This is a lovely place to stay in Lexington. I will definitely return someday!
Everything is made with respect to nature, with intent to save energy, to recycle without compromising comfort, convenience and overall great atmosphere of hospitality
oversold and moved me to a worse hotel. when checking out of the other hotel, they said i should of been comped the room but no word.
Overall a pleasant experience. They had a little difficulty looking up my membership. I am also more used to the small bottles of toiletries than the big dispenser. But they did heed my request for a disabled room that is close to the elevator and ended up upgrading me to a suite.
Easy on off the highway. Not far from Alewife T stop.friendly staff breakfast average.
Great hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a quality room to stay in. The rooms are furnished with a full size refrigerator, cook top, microwave, dishwasher, sink, dishes, silverware and glasses. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. There is a couch and in my case two queen size beds. Flat screen TV and a desk. The rooms have a safe and plenty of storage. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They seem very interested you having a quality stay with them. The breakfasts are very nice. There are hot and cold food options and a chef that will cook some pre-planned options for you as well. The lobby is nice, with a lot of seating. There is a pool and workout room as well. As far as location, the hotel is righ next to the Minuteman National park and a short drive to Concord if interested in seeing any historical sites. If going to downtown Boston, it is only about 8 miles north the Alewife T station. There is a large parking garage there, so parking is easy. I do not have any complaints. I had a great experience there and the location was good.
Neil at the front desk tells us all deluxe rooms are attached. If true, be forewarned. Deluxe rooms do not have a full kitchenette, no stove top or dishwasher. Lounging chair should not be placed next to the heat/cool vent. Bathroom size is big, rainfall shower head only one setting not enough pressure to get fully clean and unfortunately bathroom door does not fully close and lock. Deluxe room is smaller, dustier and not swept well. Sheets and fluffy duvet cover are white but Element does not do a good job of getting stains out a lot of brown residue stains. Did not want to sleep with them, called front desk for a so spare blanket, they delivered a thin fleece throw instead. Fridge not cleaned well, weird how there was hair in it. Staff were loud throughout whole stay the room is not well insulated to keep enough sound out. If given a room next to elevator I suggest asking for another room further away, a lot of traffic during the breakfast rush. Breakfast was good, I feel bad for the ONE guy working the grill station, so much demand and he handles it well. Everything other than that guy who works the grill and pan station, everything else about breakfast was average. Did not take ANY photos because, I was really disappointed with my decision to stay at the Element. There are better options to TRY. Again like my title says, I wish I tried the A Loft across the parking lot instead, yes it's literally across the parking lot. If I had to rate Element, it's barely 2 out of 5.
We only stayed one night and did not get to use most of the amenities like the pool and the weight/exercise room. Grounds and interior were quite beautiful. Very convenient to Lexington, the Battle Green, the Battle Road and other historical sites. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. AC vent tends to blow strongly on one side, but the comforter was nice and thick. Quite a bit of light gets through the sides of the window shades even when it is down. If you are sensitive to light when sleeping, bring a sleep mask.
We cooked meals in room a few times. Hotel is close to downtown Boston.
Very modern, clean. Breakfast included, full fridge, stove. Great value
