Had a great time in Beaufort Inn. This was our first stay at this inn and we really enjoyed the stay.

We loved this place. Sitting out on the balcony gave us a chance to see up close some of the local birds as they came to rest in the garden trees. It was a peaceful, restful place to be as we celebrated our 40th anniversary.

Very comfortable accommodations. Convenient location. Would stay here again.

A comfortable historical hotel with friendly staff and excellent breakfast situated in the historical area with all resturants galleries etc within walking distance Would recommend to our friends.

A Must stay when visiting Beaufort. Great accomododations, friendly staff, excellent quality inn. I'll be back for sure.

After a stellar experience before for a friend's birthday overnight celebration, we chose this romantic inn for our anniversary. When the staff found out it was our anniversary we were given a complimentary bottle of wine. The inn is beautiful, the staff so friendly and the location excellent within walking distance of the village as well as in the historic district.

The breakfast they put out in the AM is excellent and we had a terrific BYOB dinner on one night. Melissa was our waitress and is super nice.

A great place to stay in Beaufort. Off the main street and still close.

When we booked , we assumed that we would be staying in the historic hotel. We were given a very small cottage type room in one of their out buildings. There was mold along the shower floor. We asked for a queen bed and were given one of the smallest queen beds I have ever been on. The afternoon refreshment in the front room consisted of iced tea with a cake in one by one inch bite size. This hotel was not cheap to stay in! After we checked out, we stayed sight seeing for 3 hours. When we returned to our home after a 2 1/2 hour drive, we discovered that my husband's medicine bag was missing. We called the Beaufort Inn and they said it was there. I asked why we were not notified that we had left it there as we were still in Beaufort for 3 hours after check out. The employee said that she didn't have any contact information for us. I told her that it was impossible that they checked us in without any information. The girl then said I was being rude to her and that she was working two jobs and this one was so stressful that she was quitting. I told her that we had to drive 2 1/2 hours each way to pick up the bag and she said that she wouldn't be here next week. I told her that we wouldn't be there next week either!! When we drove for a total of 5 hours to get the medicine bag, the employee that gave us the bag was very cold and said that they did not have contact information for us since we booked through a third party. Since we had that discount, did they treat us differently from a full paying customer? We just walked out. We stayed in their Inn and they had no information about who we were? This was a VERY unpleasant experience. Who is running that place? The only good thing we can say is that the breakfast was excellent as was the friendliness of the Chef. Beaufort was wonderful. We took the River Boat Ride and Carriage Ride. Unfortunately the experience of our stay and rude staff at the Beaufort Inn was a part of our Honeymoon!

The room was really nice. Many of the rooms are in small buildings clustered near the big old house and they are very comfortable with attractive courtyards. The only negative is that the breakfast room is dated and the staff at breakfast aren't that friendly. But I'd recommend the hotel

Great location friendly staff nice room. Beautiful to

Spent a wonderful overnight at the Inn. The original room we booked was very hot so they moved us to a suite instead and asked if it was alright. The suite was large and nicely furnished. The Inn itself is very pretty with a three story circular staircase. The breakfast was great with several choices and the ability to have eggs or owlets custom made. The resturant on premises is also one of the best in Beaufort. My only complaint was the lack of availability to get a cold drink. They have no vending machines or other service and the stores in town all closed at 5 or 6 o'clock.

The hotel was great! We got there and they were able to provide us a room that accommodated us having a child with no extra charge. The hotel and grounds were amazing and very comfortable! We had a great time! Highly recommended.

The breakfast that was included was great; we had made-to-order omelets and fresh fruit. When I booked the accommodations, I didn't realize that there are several cottages on the premises; however , the overall ambiance was very "southern". I don't know what the rooms were like in the Inn but the cottages were a little cramped and the air conditioner was on and off all night. The bathroom was roomy and the shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. The location was great in that we walked around town and visited the park. We ate at the Saltus Grille which was pretty good.

The hotel is ideally located to enjoy Beaufort. The room was nice, very clean but there was a loud pounding AC unit (guessing) right outside the the room and it went constantly day and night, a little annoying. The room also had no closet which is a bit inconvenient. However the staff as very nice and quite helpful, with excellent restaurant recommendations. I liked that they are pet friendly and I would stay there again and have recommended it to friends that travel up and down the East coast. The breakfast was nice but could have more healthy choices.

Our room was dirty (pulled up throw rug because cable TV line caused us to trip and there was a pile of dirt and debris that looked like it'd been there since the Civil War). The front desk staff while very nice went home from~ 8pm until 8am and made it very difficult to handle problems/minor requests e.g. wake up calls, coffee). Overall disappointed with inn. Expected much better.

Great location-close to waterfront and downtown. Did not really do much at the hotel itself, but room was charming!

Great access to everything in downtown Beaufort. The staff was outstanding. The facilities were beautiful. Our stay was quiet and relaxing in the very comfortable rooms.

We book this hotel for our in-laws. They had a wonderful get-away weekend. The location was perfect. The food was fantastic. The cottage was breath taking. They had a wonderful weekend.
