Catalina Hotel & Beach Club

Nice night

We stayed one night to hang out on South Beach. Check-in is after 3. But they were able to accommodate us earlier. I paid for a third person in the room but then they didn't want to give them a beach chair etc. When I ask to speak to the manager they relented and gave us the Third persons amenities. Valet parking is $40. Biggest problem is it took almost an hour to get our car. Location is good to have a free drink happy hour from 7 to 8. We ate at Maxine's and it was good. Just a block to the beach and they provide Beach towels and chair rentals at the beach for free. Tip- park at the 16th Street public ramp $20 overnight and just walk the two blocks to hotel or use a lyft.

YVE Hotel Miami

Definitely recommend

Great location in Downtown Miami, across the street from Bayside Marketplace from where all the cruises start. Nice room with comfortable beds and great view on Biscayne Bay.

The Palms Hotel & Spa

Great location but very small rooms

Love the location. Great beach and pool. Food menu is limited and expensive and rooms are small. Also drinks mix drinks are not good and expensive We had two double beds and there was no room for 4 people to walk around room which even makes April empty with bathroom since was sooo smal. I will came back but make sure to get a bigger room and I will explore other dinning options

Hotel Croydon

Value for Money

A very good hotel, possibly best budget option in the 4 star range (though it used to be cheaper). Nice amenities - free yoga class on Saturday, with an excellent instructor; rooftop area with great views; 1 block from the beach; free cocktail hour. Rooms are small but comfortable, beds are good. Nice and quiet, away from South Beach madness, but right on the free trolley line. Service was excellent. Hotel restaurant wasn't bad, which is usually all you can ask for in a hotel restaurant.
