My stay was really nice and enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got two free drink vouchers just because we had to wait in line a little to check in. The pool was AMAZING!!! Very cute and cozy out there. I will say the bar drinks were a little expensive and not that strong, but the bartender was nice so it helped...a little. Would definitely stay again. Airport shuttle was super convenient as well.

The bar tenders and servers were very friendly and welcoming. I want to thank Carlos for engaging with his customers so sincerely. The service desk or front desk were also extremely friendly and offered hotel specials

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. There is a nice pool area and indoor lounge. The staff was very nice, accommodating, and responsive. They put together a good team. The only thing I would improve is the quality of food for room service. Breakfast wasn't anything special, you could tell it came from a buffet or something. However, it wasn't very expensive so it doesn't affect my rating. I would stay there again for business.

We arrived at about 10:30 pm after driving 4 hours from Orlando. I had booked the room months prior and was told by orbitz I didn't need to pay until I got to the hotel. When we got there and went to check in, I was told my room had been sold. When I showed the printout with my confirmation number I was told it didn't matter and that the hotel had the right to sell my room if they sold out of rooms. There were three other people in the lobby visibly upset and after asking them, they told me the same thing was done to them. We were all left stranded in Miami late at night. Luckily the Hampton Inn down the road had rooms because none of the 4 other hotels I called did and we almost had to sleep in the airport terminal. Scumbag hotel staff didn't even recommend another hotel that might have rooms. Stay away from this place!

The hotel was canceled on us on the day of the reservations. We received the email only after arriving to Miami and waiting 40 min outside for the shuttle. Called the shuttle number and received a standard message of regular business hours. Nothing suggested of hotel being closed. After whole day of traveling and waiting for the shuttle find out of the cancelation. At that point all airport hotels were soledly booked. We didn't received any assistance from the hotel or orbitz.

Just passing by Miami, I decided to stay one night. The hotel was modern, clean, the staff was courteous and very inviting. I will stay here again.

Would like to loose $17 daily parking fee. Breakfast area was so cold that I felt the need to eat outside in the the 90 deg heat. Had requested single bed option in the Orbitz reservation but this never materialized & ended up looking at 2 queens.

I didnt have a good experience at this hotel. When we arrived after our long flight..we found caos in the hotel lobby when we walked in. All the hotel computer systems were down so upon check in, reservations only, you had to show your reservation confirmation in your emails. I waited in a long line to finally get to staff. Once i got to the front, i how i payed extra for a water view, i showed him my confirmation in which it also stated this. He told me the confirmation wasnt specific enough, and i cant get a room with a view unless i contact orbitz. So i step to the side of the line to contact orbitz. Once i orbitz on the phone, the guy refused talk to them. He told me i had to get back in the line. Orbitz kept apologizing to me. Even customers waiting to be roomed stated how wrong that was. Long story short, i ended up asking for management. Situation was resolved. Since the systems were down no room keys were issued. We literally had to wait for someone to let us in/out the room. We had to wait in another line for this.Upon entering the room i noticed the carpet looked really old and stained. A look of almost mildew, without an odor. I asked hotel staff about it. They said it was decoration. The beds were really soft, the rooms were really clean. Cleaning people did excellent each day. This hotel is very very far from the beach. 30 mins plus. No shuttle to beach, wouldnt recommend staying here if you want to go to beach daily. Uber cost 18-20 one way to the beach.

Stayed on business. Really did not use many of the facilities. Overall pleasant surroundings.

Staff was amazing, everyone wanted to help you, everyone greeted you and they knew you after a few days and would welcome is back after a day of activities, everything looked great pictures don't tell you they same story you'll have to visit for yourself

Unfortunately only an overnight stay & arrived late. Stayed 2 years ago when Hotel was Sofitel brand & needed a makeover. Now fully refurbished & looked great.

The staff and managers or 100% professional and went out of their way during my stay in the room was beautiful and they accommodated all of my needs I would definitely highly recommend them again and I will be coming back to visit

Business Travelers

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. There is a nice pool area and indoor lounge. The staff was very nice, accommodating, and responsive. They put together a good team. The only thing I would improve is the quality of food for room service. Breakfast wasn't anything special, you could tell it came from a buffet or something. However, it wasn't very expensive so it doesn't affect my rating. I would stay there again for business.

sold our room and left us stranded

We arrived at about 10:30 pm after driving 4 hours from Orlando. I had booked the room months prior and was told by orbitz I didn't need to pay until I got to the hotel. When we got there and went to check in, I was told my room had been sold. When I showed the printout with my confirmation number I was told it didn't matter and that the hotel had the right to sell my room if they sold out of rooms. There were three other people in the lobby visibly upset and after asking them, they told me the same thing was done to them. We were all left stranded in Miami late at night. Luckily the Hampton Inn down the road had rooms because none of the 4 other hotels I called did and we almost had to sleep in the airport terminal. Scumbag hotel staff didn't even recommend another hotel that might have rooms. Stay away from this place!

Dear Jarrod, We appreciate your feedback. As you mentioned, reservations may be booked under third party channels such as Orbitz. Nevertheless, a valid credit card is required to book the reservation. Therefore, during the day of your arrival we attempted to authorize your card for room and tax. It is unfortunate that card was declined. Therefore, we place the room back to inventory after contacting guests. We regret you feel this way about our property.
