I was expecting more for a $280 per night experience. The beach chairs were put out early while I was still using them, the room was small, the pool was small also.

Location is good. Several restaurants walking distance away. We had originally made a 1 night reservation, but when our plans had changed we added extra night to arrive earlier. Upon check in we were informed that the rooms are different class . One basic one premium. And we would have to check out at 11 and wait till 4pm to check back in !!!!! Normally you would be offered to downgrade or upgrade to be able to sleep in , and not pack and unpack your luggage. But not here ! It took nearly 45 min and a lot of frustration to resolve . Accommodations at this hotel in a need of TLC . Faucet was dripping , toilet was running all night. Balcony door wouldn’t open , which makes it pointless to have balcony. Handle in a bathroom door was not screwed on , so I got locked on the inside of the bathroom and had to call for help.

This hotel was perfect. The room was beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful. Especially Toni, she went out of her way to help us.

Nice Resort close to the beach but next lot under construction. There is nothing better in life than to rent a ocean side hotel with an ocean view room with balcony and wake up early morning on a Saturday to the harmonious sound of heavy machinery. We arrived at the hotel at night time and did not even noticed the heave machinery in the adjacent lot to our room because of the darkness. I believe that Hotels or Orbitz should disclose that information to customers before they finish their reservation. The noise was so loud that even with the balcony door close you could hear everything and staying out at the balcony deafening. On a different note, all 20% gratuities were included in every bill, not because a large group like we are use to but for every transaction at the bar or restaurant for a 2 people party. This is a problem because the employees / waiters have no accountability to the quality of their services. We ordered a pizza that took 2 hours to get to us (because the waiter forgot about it) and then it came with a 20% gratuity charge. We saw the waiter after an hour and ask for the food and he said it was coming, but it never came until we ask again, then he realized he forgot. Getting bad service is one thing but been charge 20% gratuity for the bad service is outrageous. One night we got waken by an employee that was delivering to us 2 boxes of Kleenex tissues at 12:30 AM, he mistakenly got the wrong room number. We are NOT GOING TO STAY THERE AGAIN.

We enjoyed a long weekend here to celebrate our anniversary. Everything at Marenas was wonderful, specially the hotel staff, every single one of them were extremely attentive, kind and eager to help and make us feel welcomed. We will come back!

Very cool hotel but the balcony was dirty when we arrive. Beside that very comfortable. Not a very good breakfast and a little bit upset for the extra charge of valet parking they said its mandatory.

Hotel was adequate for the price, but many of the costs/fees associated with staying there were not included or mentioned prior to booking. The beach location is nice but there's a construction site directly next door, though no noise noticeable yet. Hotel had clean and simple lobby and rooms. Parking and hotel fees were required and added; there is no where to self park you must valet. The room service food was disappointing, but we didn't get a chance to try the restaurants.

Lobby is small- needs updating. The height of building blocks the sun st the beach st 2:00 Pool is SO small!!! Needs small store to shop in

Awesome views, friendly staff, and clean room. Planning on staying again.

Our Room was small and uncomfortable. Management wanted to charge additional fees when we were checking in. No valets or bellboys. Not an experience I would discourage or encourage.

The location is perfectly close to everything...on the beach, restaurants, entertainment...whatever you want. some extra charges but we expect that by now... resort fees and parking ect.

We were pleasantly surprised with our view, it was spectacular, and the front desk was very helpful, they also recommended a fantastic cuban restaurant we walked to, best cuban food ever!

Thia is one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed. The hallways stink and rooms were dirty. The pool is absolutely disgusting with garbage floating and people throwing stuff at each other. Most of the times, there is no beach towel available. There is no respect to families in this hotel, and we even didn't feel safe there. The hotel was so bad we ended up canceling our second night after going through a lot of hassle. If you are with your family or partner, stay away from Marenas. Don't get fooled by their listed rates... they actually charge $30 for parking and $25 for resort fee. It's funny that they even call this place a "resort"!!

The hotel is nice and in a great location. Walking distance or a short drive to everything. If you want to stay in a nice place you have to pay for it. I just wish all charges in fees were included in the daily rates.

Friendly staff, comfortable suites, convenient valet, excellent location make this an appealing choice. Great overall experience. Additional resort fee and parking fee was a big bummer which Orbiitzfailed to tell me about.

The location could not be better, and the staff was friendly, attentive to our needs. The premises were also perfect; modern, nice views, and well appointed rooms. Maybe the restaurant could be upgraded, its location looked more like an afterthought...like "we forgot the restaurant"...and the menu did not look exciting. Overall definitively a good experience and good value.

Although it was a nice, clean and nice location. Was not happy with the extra charges of $175 for valet parking and resort fees for 3 days . Especially when not in your budget. Its something they should tell when you are booking.

Great location and I do want to say that the staff was extremely nice....Nikolas and Joe at the beach both stood out....as did the young guy and girl at front desk that helped...sorry for not remembering your names. Upon arrival, NO RESERVATION???? In todays technology driven era? Waited 2 hours for a room, did get moved from Bay to Ocean view, 2002B was worn in every regard-carpet, paint, mattress. Health club cardio side-no A/C-weight room, dated but very well equipped. Steam room worked for 20 minutes, never again for the next 4 days. Never had housekeeping on Sunday, do know that they were not happy about bringing ice as that took 45 minutes. Location was great, great, great.....just needs updating.

We recommend this hotel for vacation, we hade an excellent time. Next time will stay in this hotel.

Friendly staff, conveniently located, great views, clean and comfortable

That's the side of the balcony view. The best ones are the ocean view rooms, because you have a 360 ocean view.

Dear Esteban and Paola, Thank you for your review on Marenas Beach Resort. We are sorry you found the balcony in such conditions, this is unacceptable and we are going to follow up on this to avoid this scenario again. Regarding the valet parking, it is mandatory, since we do not provide self-parking space. Actually, self-parking is hard to come by anywhere on Miami Beach. However, we understand this can be somewhat frustrating, that is the reason why we try to expedite our service on our front drive. Again, we really appreciate your feedback. Regards,

Greetings from Marenas, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We have certainly taken note and will be sure to audit the website and all pre-stay messages so ensure that all charges are clear prior to arrival. We do have valet and resort fee that are charged per day. The resort fee includes beach, towels, and umbrellas on the beach, WIFI connection, fitness center and business center available 24 hours, an local phone calls. Regarding the valet parking, we understand that this can be somewhat frustrating, but self-parking is hard to come by anywhere on the area. We really appreciate the feedback. We would love to host you at Marenas again in the future. Regards,

Greetings from Marenas, Thank you for sharing your experience with us and we really appreciate your suggestions. We work everyday to make our guests spend the most amazing moments at Marenas. You are correct about the shadows on the beach. Unfortunately, high rise buildings tend to do that. Your observations are much appreciated. Regards,
