I love this hotel. Every time I travel, I try to stay at the Hyatt . The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also amazing . And the staff is very friendly.

The staff upon check in was very friendly. I pulled back the bedding and found dirty marks all over the comforter which was between the sheet and blanket. I can't imagine they washed these between use. I called down and asked for a new comforter and they brought me up clean bedding from another room. I put that on the bed and pulled back the sheets and there was a 2 inch tear in the sheet. Obviously this had no effect on comfort but does show their lack of attention/care. I'm not trying to pile on, but my wife and I had a very rough nights sleep. The bed really wasn't comfortable and pillows were awful. For the price we paid, I certainly expected a better experience. I will not be staying here again.

Our "excellent" rating, above, applies ONLY to "Laura" at the front desk. (More re this later.) The other, lower ratings come from our having "cold shower" water nearly all the time, a couple of stained and dirty towels presented to us, and THEN, there was "Mike" at the front desk, a man who stares at his computer constantly and seems incapable of making eye-contact with a guest -- AND who was cold, dismissive and utterly unhelpful to us on more than one occasion. (Examples: my wife forgot to bring her nail polish remover; we saw a sign at the desk saying "Forget something?", and at the top, it offered "nail polish". So with a smile, she approached "Mike" and asked if she could purchase some nail polish remover. He took a quick glance away from his machine, regarded my wife for a second, then muttered, "No, we're all out." She was upset at his rude dismissiveness, but we left it. Then, a few hours later, at breakfast, we asked Laura about this, and she immediately fetched a large supply of remover, adding that "of course we have it." Too, that previous evening, we were going next door to the "Buca" Italian restaurant, and found it heavily raining outside. She said, "Oh, let me inquire at the desk." She approached 'Mike' again, who was staring at his computer, as usual, and politely asked if we could borrow an umbrella for a short while. "We dont have any!", came the curt, unfriendly reply. "Mike" might be more suited for work in, say, "waste management"...

Stayed two nights, first night the a/c was very loud. The next day we asked to change rooms and a/c was nice and quite. They said that they are almost done with changing out all the a/c units in the hotel. Nice hotel and good breakfast.

Not really a 4 Star Hotel but has some nice perks...I really like the Hyatt Place layout, small sectional couch in each room, mini-fridge, I like having that hangout space...but in that layout you lose closet space (difficult to access), bathroom also tiny and shower/fixtures are dated but more or less functional...Good breakfast buffet every morning...really good value for an Austin hotel

The room was very nice and big. The pics on the internet looked exactly like our room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Great value for the money.

The bed needs to be retired. The mattress had no support at all and the air conditioner sounded like a freight train. The staff were friendly enough but just not very professional.

Hotel was aight. Housekeeping argued about us having a late check out and the front desk were rather hopeless but the room was clean and spacious.

Couldn't decide where in Austin to stay. Ended up picking this place. Clean, friendly, very comfortable! Great location we thought. We loved the breakfast!!! Family vacations we book condos and we make our own. It's been a long time since we stayed at a hotel. Never ending options on the breakfast choices. Very pleased!

I was looking to stay in the Austin area but didn't want to be in the downtown area. My search brought me to this place. When I arrived I was very satisfied. Staff was nice, room was clean, & it was next to lots of shopping & resturants and less than 10mile ride to downtown.

Wasn't excited to see the size of the double beds. They looked more like a twin size. BUT the pull out sofa was huge and surprisingly comfy! My 2 year old and I fit comfortably on it. This was the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in! We never heard noises in the hallway like we usually do in other hotels. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff was friendly:)

Great hotel in Austin to stay for the weekend. If it's not essential for you to be near downtown, this is the perfect hotel to stay. For the price, the hotel is comfortable, has plenty of room, and very functional. There are plenty of plugs for all your devices, but the outlets are not near the bed. Also, the bathroom is a bit tight, so you might find yourself showering with the door open. Our room was next to the elevator, and we didn't hear anything.

Everything is just what we always expect when staying at a Hyatt Place. Staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and roomy. The free breakfast offers an array of hot and cold options. The location was convenient to get to and plenty of places to park. We would definitely stay here again!

needs and update and more attention to detail

a primer re hotel management.....

Stayed two nights, first night the a/c was very loud. The next day we asked to change rooms and a/c was nice and quite. They said that they are almost done with changing out all the a/c units in the hotel. Nice hotel and good breakfast.

good 3 star hotel

awesome weekend getaway!

Couldn't decide where in Austin to stay. Ended up picking this place. Clean, friendly, very comfortable! Great location we thought. We loved the breakfast!!! Family vacations we book condos and we make our own. It's been a long time since we stayed at a hotel. Never ending options on the breakfast choices. Very pleased!
