Expect undisclosed hidden charges. $45/night!
Hotels.com listing didn’t mention the $45/parking charge. The hotel receptionist nonchalantly mentioned that hotels.com doesn’t list this charge. She seemed to be very aware that this discrepancy has existed for a very long time. This is not acceptable. Such omission should be corrected immediately but hotel’s management unfortunately doesn’t see this as a misleading practice. I expected the hotels.com listing to be transparent so that I could make an informed decision when booking. If I knew that I should be expected to pay additional $45/night to park on hotel’s premises, I would have picked a different place to stay.

The location was good for the 6th St venues but not for the Congress St venues. Our shower door did not close properly and water was all over the floor. We reported it and asked for new bath mats but they never brought them. The next day we took one from the maid on the floor. The pool was extremely small.

It was OK. It wasn’t bad. It wasn’t special either though. The parking was really hard, but it was a Saturday night so Understandable. I probably won’t book that hotel the next time I go to Austin though.

Staff were very nice and helpful, In a great location for walking around. Room was lovely but the pull out couch bed was so thin it felt like I was sleeping on metal poles. But other than that it was safe and clean.
