I was SO disappointed in our stay. I called two weeks in advance to ensure they had hot break fast during covid and that the pool was open. We got there and this location is surrounded by homeless. No breakfast. Pool was filthy. So so disappointed as we normally love Hyatt

I liked the cleanliness of the room and the space and layout. It was a corner room and was large. What I did not like was the location. It did not feel safe.

The staff at the reception desk were short and didn’t want to be helpful at all! There definitely were no “going out of their way” to make its guests welcomed. E.g. all the questions I asked were answered “no!” and that’s it. Ah also, there’s no restaurant in this hotel and they only serve coffee, which they call “breakfast”. Very disappointed! I was treated much much better in cheap motels on the sides of highways.

Everything was nice except for the breakfast. I thought it could have been better.

The room was very Clean, friendly staff that greeted me as soon as I walked in, and close free parking

The garage wasn’t open when we arrived so we had to pay for public parking. The bathroom had many nasty, dangerous issues with it. The hotel did not live up to its expectations from the pictures. Very disappointing that I paid this much to stay here.

The rooms are nice but they seem to have a communication issue with housekeeping not telling maintance that things are broke. Also if I would have known Salvation Army homeless shelter was two blocks away I wouldn’t have booked there. Very aggressive pan handlers and the hotel shockingly didn’t have security for its guest.

Hyatt is consistent about its property condition It’s clean, staff are friendly and breakfast is excellent

Spacious rooms, small pool. Cold a/c. Great breakfast!

The day shift desk person made me feel rushed, even on the phone but Demont on evenings was a joy and took care of problems right away. The noise from the bar was very loud and they allow pets which we had one barking so loud, I was even 3 rooms away and could hear it. The parking fee was a little high, 35 a day. It was very clean and close walking distance to everything. The breakfast was the best I have seen and wonderful omelets. Overall it was a great hotel.

Property was clean and modern. A block away is a homeless shelter, but we walked to the downtown at all hours of the day and we just went a few streets over before we headed to the 6th Street area and we had no issues.

It’s the second time I stay at Hyatt House in Austin. It’s my favorite hotel in downtown. The room is spacious and super clean. But the highlight of my stay was the staff. Jimena, the front desk supervisor was extremely helpful and very nice. She gave me an upgrade to accommodate my friends and I more comfortably. She also worked hard to let me do an early check-in. I would stay there again because I know Jimena will give me the best service with a big smile in her face. She is the best! Thank you.

This is a nice clean property. If your doing business at the capital or that general area it’s a great location. There’s a bunch of restaurants a short drive away or the shuttle will tAke you if u don’t feel like walking. Starbucks is a 1/2 mile away. It’s a nice walk. Breakfast was nice too and they have to go cups if you want to take your beverage with you.

We apologize your expectations were not met. We have not served hot breakfast since the start of the pandemic and have updated our website accordingly. Not sure who misled you, but we will look into it so this doesn't happen again. We are deeply sorry for our shortcoming and will rectify them immediately. We hope you give us another chance to get it right next time you return to Austin.
