Hyatt Place Austin Downtown

This is a great location, great price, and great hotel experience. I used the fitness room, and while it doesn't have everything a regular gym does, I was still able to get a great workout. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. Food during breakfast is good. I'll look for more Hyatt Place hotels when I need to travel.

Everything we wanted to do was a short walk away. Great location. Clean room, great staff.

This hotel is the best deal in downtown Austin! Great location that allows you to walk to lots of restaurants and fun stuff to do, or you can have the valet bring your car around if you need to drive and then have them park it again when you are done. That is so great because getting parking in downtown Austin can be an issue. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and the rooms are clean. We will be back, for sure!

Family of 4 (parents and 2 teens) for 5 days and 4 nights. Pros: 1. Location: extremely close to Magnificent Mile, the North shore. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. 2. Hotel staff: very courteous and helpful. 3. Room: we had the standard with 2 queen beds. It was spacious and bright. Especially appreciated sink with large countertop in the bathroom 4. Bonus: Starbucks on the ground floor! Note that Lobby is on the 2nd floor Cons: 1. Hotel is rather large so lots of people coming and going during the weekend. We arrived on Saturday during Lollapalooza: we couldn't sleep well that night due to lots of drunk guests partying in the hallways. Security did come up when we called at 2:00am. Noise stopped for maybe 30 mins but it started again. 2. Walls are paper thin but worse is the bolted dividing door between 2 rooms with a large space at the bottom. Next door neighbor was either smoking or has a weird cologne on but the smell came through to our room. It was awful! Once we put rolled towels in front of the door, it got much better. 3. Beware of your room location! We ended up close to the elevator shaft so each time the elevator stopped at our floor, it sounded like someone was moving furniture above our heads. 4. Location: hotel is close to Northwestern Hospiyal so be ready for the ambulance sirens!

Did not anticipate valet parking. There is virtually no available parking unless you use valet. It was good service. Did not anticipate the cost

The hotel is well-priced, nicely laid out, and the rooms are huge. Great place to stay if you've got a roommate situation for a conference. Everything was very clean, the staff were prompt and friendly, lobby was comfortable, and the breakfast was a good spread. There's also a great crepe place right around the corner, and the convention center is a block away.

Check in and out was super easy. Room was clean, only complaint was that the bed/pillows weren't the comfiest. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Staff was super helpful when we had questions or needed anything. Used the pool once, nothing special but nice after coming in after a long, hot day. Great location.

Staff was really friendly and so accommodating. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I wish we were staying longer!

Location was perfect for walking around downtown Austin. It was always easy to stop by the room mid-day. Staff was friendly. Room was clean & nice. Queen beds were very comfortable. The hide-a-bed was every bit as awful as you'd expect it to be.

Hotel is not cheap but it's a great hotel in great location. Offers good breakfast in the morning. Walking distance to a lot of attractions, restaurants, and bars.

Great downtown location! We were able to walk everywhere we needed and wanted to go. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was parking. There is no clearly marked guest parking, aside from valet, for the hotel.

Hotel Staff are very friendly and helpful. Greeted with a warm welcome.

Great stay at this hotel - beautiful room, super clean, friendly staff at check-in and check-out, and breakfast included!

We have stayed at the Hyatt Place in the past, but this time the hotel did not meet expectations. The wifi did not work on the floor, we called the front desk but they were not able to successfully resolve the issue over 3 days. The wifi worked fine in the lobby, but not the room. The remote for the TV did not work well, so we needed to use the controls on the side of the screen. While we could have contacted the front desk, who wants to have someone come up to the room when you are lying around in your PJs just relaxing a bit before falling asleep?

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and just a great stay overall. The only knock on the hotel was the beds weren't comfortable and only valet parking is available.

Hotel staff was very helpful and attentive, always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast (included) had a great selection, the french toast was delicious. The rooms and lobby was clean and welcoming.

Lovely hotel, a few blocks from sixth street. Great location and modern furnishings make this place a great spot to enjoy the best of downtown Austin and not have to deal with traffic.

The hotel was centrally located to all of the sightseeing we wanted to do. It was clean, the staff was friendly and very professional, and the rooms were spacious.

This was a wonderful place to stay, with free wifi and lots of space in the rooms. The breakfast was great, too!

Everything is nice about this hotel for the price i paid. The only complaint is the air conditioning is too loud nd fan blow directly toward the bed.
