I have never been in a Hotel who has not the bathroom in the bedroom, that was terrible, if want to take a shower or go to bathroom we should go out that is terrible. I will never recommend this hotel.
Didn't know my room shared common bathrooms, but everything was clean. Got used to it quickly.
The place was clean but very old, the beds were in terrible conditions. When I booked the hotel I chose it because it was a little chiper than the newer ones, but they charge extra if you want one or two beds, doesn't include the breakfast and you pay extra for the parking as well, I finished paying more than a more updated hotel. The staff was nice.

Disappointed that the external bathroom and room setup was strange. Quaint but had a college bar scene area that wasn’t enjoyable to be around.
Close to my event, very dirty. Hair was everywhere, in towels and cloths. Bathrooms gross, stairwell felt like an asana. Not happy

Every front desk person was pleasant, willing to help and accommodating. We stood overnight while waiting for friends to arrive. They stored our luggage while we waited to check into the Airbnd. Comfortable beds.
Staff was friendly, property was ok, could use updates and the food wasn't particularly great. The hotel has great potential for improvements.

Great location, friendly staff. I loved the pool and pool bar. It was relatively quiet for being on the first floor. My AC acted a bit strange whereas it cooled fine during the hot Texas days, but then struggled to keep down at night. I did not alert them for some reason until the last night and they promptly brought a fan. I'd stay again and may buy day passes for the pool on occasion as I live nearby.
This is beautiful and and easy walk to downtown straight down 6th street. Wonderful, cute little neighborhood. The property itself is perfect. I liked having a view out over the East of Houston (3rd floor, Waller building), the balcony rooms have their own charm and overlook the pool. Really nice staff and perfect amenities.
Very cool hotel. The alarm went off once in the middle of the night during our stay but overall a good experience!

While the details regarding the external bathrooms of our Cabin Queen rooms are listed on all booking sites, I do apologize if this was missed at the time of booking. I am so sorry that you did not enjoy your dormitory-style cabin room! This room type has a unique setup, ideal for some travelers, but not for everyone. The majority of our rooms do have en suite bathrooms and a more traditional setup, so hopefully you will join us again. Thank you!
