I usually stay at a Marriott but choose this hotel for its location, great city views right on the river.

We had an issue with checking in because of the hotel was overbooked for the golf tournament. Of course it would immediately been a negative for me but right away the staff at the Hyatt was so accommodating and made sure we were treated like VIPS. They found a comparable hotel for the night (the radisson --although it wasn't FYI) and made sure we had the best room back at the Hyatt the rest of the trip. They also gave us special perks! The hotel was really nice and the rooms were really clean. The staff were super friendly. Even with the issue at the beginning, I really did enjoy my stay there. And I believe it was a really good location. Centrally located to Downtown, S. Congress, and Barton Springs. I will definitely come back!

My family and I stayed at the Hyatt recently while visiting my granddaughter at University of Texas in Austin! I highly recommend this hotel. I will be staying here again!

Great stay, wonderful view, room was amazing, will come again.

Excellent experience except for problems with out A/C. No matter how we left the temperature, it reset to 74 degrees while we were sleeping or if we were gone for the day. Made for fairly uncomfortable nights of sleep. Likely room-specific and not a broader problem with the hotel. And I'm sure if we told the front desk, they'd have fixed it immediately.

We loved our stay at the Hyatt. Great location, walking distance to ACL, restaurants and shopping. Starbucks on site was great. Nice pool and gym. Had difficulty connecting to wifi and staff were very helpful. Would definitely return.

It was a good stay. Parking was a little bit of a pain. You had to walk a long way to the parking garage. Valet was a little pricy.

Staff was extremely friendly. Quick check in and out. Very clean room. Perfect location to walk around downtown and hit shops and restaurants. Just down the path from the bridge where bats fly out every night. That was cool to see! Would definitely stay again.

My family and I wanted to take a brief trip to Austin and we was looking for a place to stay that was safe, comfortable and clean. Our expectations were met and more.

nice room, great view. Quite, venue for conference was great. Room service quick and good. Right on Lady bird river. Did not like Starbucks OVER PRICED. Food not good and pricey. Also there was no local shuttle service. Very disappointing, had to go somewhere 6 minute drive.. took me 40 mins to walk in heat $12.00 by taxi.

The Hyatt has a nice location right on the water. It is walking distance from some fun restaurants. We really enjoyed the comfortable beds. The people at the front desk were very helpful in recommending things to do. If you like to get out and walk, this location gives you many options.

Great hotel, wonderful amenities and easy in and out.

Two night stay in a convenient location in Austin. Within walking distance from many points of interest. Nice room but no drawers to unpack suitcase into.

The Hotel was comfortable and very close to all downtown activities

We found this hotel to be very centrally located in the Austin area. It was immaculate and the staff was very nice

The room was a good size, but did little to wow. I was awoken by the next rooms hair dryer 2 mornings in a row at 5:00 am!!...but that's okay because they provided ear plugs! Need I saw more?

Enjoyed the location by the river . Standard Hyatt service up to par

I only soent two days kn the hotel but the staff went out of their way to make me and my puppy feel at home. Great people working there!

This hotel has beautiful views overlooking Lady Bird Lake and the Austin skyline, the walking/bike path is just below along the shore; there are dining areas inside and outside, plenty of meeting rooms and lounges; and the staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant.

Good service, with comfortable bedding and stuff arrangement. It's a sweet experience in Hyatt Austin!
