All employees were awesome One of the best hotel experiences I have had.

Not up to JW standards. Stayed several nights and was never able to self park. Garage was always full and was forced to valet. Room was never cleaned.. maybe something new due to COVID, but was not informed. Also little things like tv remote not working properly and not able to see folio on tv. Will not stay again.

The staff is friendly and helpful. People at the pool look like jersey shore and no one wears masks--except those who serve them, mostly melanated folks. So thats what it is, and it is what it is.

I would have liked to have a refrigerator in the room.

Every for my needs was within walking distance. No panhandlers were present and this was one of the best area to walk around safely.

Hotel is beautiful, but let down by staff, lack of service (ESPECIALLY the frightfully incompetent valet service, at $50/night and front desk/management that can barely speak English) among other things. When they cleaned the room they didn't even put on new sheets! For the price, you can do way better. Or, just don't stay in Austin... it's gotten so dirty and disgusting.

The staff was amazing. They have floating staff that instantly answer your questions in the lobby area so there is never a wait.

The Lobby is wonderful and clean but the rooms are musky and there was water coming in through the glass window on the days it rained. It was very unpleasant as my luggage got wet. They moved us to another room but I guess lo the rooms were having the same issue. They need to revamp the rooms and remove the smelly rugs

Great hotel, we will be staying here next time we visit Austin. Massage at the spa was nice as well.

Great location very engaged staff lovely rooms Helpful with recommendation of restaurants

If you enjoy spending $5 for a bottle of water or $10-$30 (price JW Blue as your reference) more per shot of whisky than the average local offerings, then this is your hotel. Also, if you think $45/night valet is too expensive, they also offer a bargain $32/night self park option for the more frugal types. Oh joy! I enjoy spending money on the finer things in life but this hotel is meh for what it is. It's no Viceroy or even W. There are way better hotels in Austin that are not this self absorbed in their image they feel they can ridiculously price gouge on silly things. The room is lame with strange leather bondage looking things holding up the bed headboard. The water pressure sucked and it was nearly impossible to get the shower the right temperature without being lukewarm or full on scald. The upside is the shampoo smelled good! The best analogy is this hotel is like overpaying for mediocre popcorn and cokes at a decent Marvel movie but not one you'd remember.

Excellent hotel within walking distance of every place we wanted to visit. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, even allowing us an early check-in. Very nice gym overlooking the city. The pool space was nice and well maintained, but the size of the pool was probably the biggest negative of the hotel. I get that space is limited, but the pool was ridiculously small for how many guests wanted to use it (and the price of the rooms). I would definitely stay here again!

What a lovely hotel ! Staff very friendly. I really liked the location, the art, the restaurants, bar, convenience. We will consider saying here again definitely

Really centralized, wonderful caring staff, good food, very nice finishes in the room and throughout the hotel. I would definitely recommend this JW Marriott!

Perfect two night stay! Love this hotel! Great staff, wonderful location, comfortable room/bed, nice bathroom, etc. ALL GOOD!!!! This was not our first stay and it will not be our last.

Not up to JW standards, we have visited many. Pool is too small and extremely dirty.

There were multiple issues , and it was already discussed with the hotel.
