Great staff, Patrick Lavender was very resp9nsive to a water issue

Facility is good. Location decent. 1/2 block north towards 6th street is a very shady alley full of homeless. Pool small. Would have liked the bar to be open at the pool. Parking expensive.

A great stay. The hotel was close proximity to 6th Street and Rainey St, which was perfect for walking where we wanted to go. The amenities and cleanliness of the hotel was to par. Staff was very friendly. My only issue was that parking was $37 per day at the hotel parking garage, which is very pricey. Being a guest staying at the hotel, there should be some discount, considering parking lots around are less than the price they charged at the hotel parking garage. Other than the parking, great stay and will be returning again soon.

Hotel was great. Staff was friendly. I know parking is hard to come by in Austin, but $40 a day for parking seemed high.

I was there 4 nights and not once did my room get serviced. Covid excuse is getting old.

Ubicado a walking-distance de restaurantes y del lady bird lake. Lo unico malo es que hay demasiados indigentes o homeless en el área y no dan sensacion de seguridad en la zona.

Breakfast burritos and Starbucks available in the hotel

My only issue was that my room was next to the elevators. Austin being a party destination, there were several groups of rowdy people coming and going until very late at night. I woke up several times during both nights I stayed here.

I stayed at this hotel with my parents and 3 year old daughter. First disappointment was no valet services, which was not clear at the the time of reservation. Oh well.. we parked in the garage. Second and most upsetting, was complete ignorance of my request by the front desk gentleman. My toddler is a sensitive sleeper and on top of that I’m pregnant and have to go to the bathroom a lot during the night. After checking in we went to the room and found out that our toilet makes very loud screeching sound every time you flush, the sound lasts 30 SECONDS!! Imaging sleeping with that and having to wake up because of that many times during the night. AND then having to calm down your sleepy toddler who asks a thousand questions about this sound... super fun! I immediately went back to the front desk and requested a plumber or another room. I explained why it was important. The gentleman at the front desk said they will send someone shortly and not to worry. We wanted to go the pool and he assured me it will be fixed while we are there. Guess what happened? Nothing was done. I was too tired to go downstairs again and tried calling to check what happened. Nobody picked up. At that point I was too annoyed to even deal with it, so we just stayed in that room. Of course, nobody got a good sleep that night. It was supposed to be a good night resting break before we drive back home next day for 4 hours. Instead it felt like a cheap motel where nothing works and you are being ignored.

Great room and very convenient, but someone at the checkin counter was pretty rude, and our room was very noisy since it was Friday night and near 6th street.

The property is great. However, the amount of homeless that filter in and out of the lobby is concerning

My stay overall was good. I mean my room was clean and it was convenient to have a fridge. The beds need to be better because I have serious back ache from these beds that sink. There was also only one restaurant available. I get that they’re still getting back up and running since pre-Covid. But the fact that no one is wearing masks not sure why all is up and running by now. There are signs everywhere that masks are required but clearly they don’t enforce it. But this is Texas I guess. The other thing that’s disappointing is that there is no daily housekeeping even though it’s listed in their amenities. They will do it if you call them but as much as I’m paying for the room they should at least come in and empty out the garbage. other than that it’s close to everything you’re close to Rainey Street. The stay was good could be better.

A bit of construction going on, but a great clean hotel.

Excellent location, is near to 6th st like 2 minutes walking, excellent service and the room was very nice.

The restroom had hairs on the counter tops and floor. Water stains or tooth paste stains on the mirror. The coffee maker had old water and stains in it. The couch in the room had hair all over it. I'm not sure what the cleaning protocol is right now for covid-19, but it definitely did not not appear to be thorough.

Jonathon, Thank you for the Hilton Austin 5/5 review! We appreciate your feedback and comments about great hotel with friendly staff. We understand the $37 + tax parking charge may seem high. We are actually one of the lowest priced rates for secure covered parking in our competitive market, located in the center of downtown. Thank you for choosing Hilton Austin.
