There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room. I asked for it from room service but I was told that they were out of both. This isn't a huge problem but it seemed odd and that maybe that wasn't the complete truth.

With in a hour of staying there they had three of the biggest roaches I’ve ever seen crawling on the wall. Ask for money back they only would change my room to second floor.

For starters, when I entered the room I immediately noticed food particles on the stove and a partially consumed bottle of coke in the refrigerator. Fine. I stow my belongings, go out for dinner, come back and sleep. I awake the next morning, open my drapes and find that the window was left unlatched and ajar. This is a ground floor room with windows the size of doors, mind you. Not really fine, but fine. Then the hotel finds a way to prematurely check me out. I'm so beyond fine at this point. What hotel/motel doesn't have a diffusion layer of drapes? It was all or nothing, blackout or fishbowl. I can't even summon the will to talk about the housekeeping.

Chose this hotel bc it was the least expensive and closest to Zilker Park. When they advertise breakfast, they mean oatmeal packs and granola bars. Good luck finding a spoon. The bathroom near the breakfast area is locked and you need to get a key from reception, of which no one is around... until the homeless guy comes in and manages to get a key (and a coffee.. and a handful of granola). If they’re going to make the executive decision to lock the bathroom to help keep homeless out, they should have their staff stick to the rule. Room itself included a kitchenette and was perfectly acceptable for our one night stay.

Wifi connection was poor. I had to take my laptop out into the hall and walk down two corridors in order to get a connection. The shower had mold in the grout.

Good hotel. Nothing special. Central to food and shopping. Too crowded for me.

Clean, comfortable hotel in a great location, great price.

Just horrible Downstairs bathroom was filfy Didn't get room that I booked Gave me a smaller room Room smelled like cigarettes I'm sure there was a full ashtray under the bed but I was to scared to look. They did give us a different room it was better but had no water pressure and very little hot water.

Rooms were clean, staff was polite. Not a good breakfast!

Overall wonderful experience. The staff was amazing and very helpful.

Dirty, no hot water, no maid service for a week and the place is just beat! And not cheap!

Very Disappointing! Front desk people not helpful. We have been staying at this Hotel twice a year for at least TEN years. I requested the Practical Comforts Package FOUR times and still didn't receive one. No message on room phone as to why.On Sunday morning there wasn't any HOT water container at the breakfast bar. On Sunday night I asked for two glasses and was given two cups. Glasses weren't available! Toilet paper holder was broke. Tub faucet was leaking badly. Reported both of these to the front desk. NOT SURE IF WE WILL RETURN IN DECEMBER ON OUR NEXT VISIT.

I showed up during SXSW at 11pm and was told that I did not have a room. I had booked my room on orbitz 2 months in advance, fully paid. As I waited for the hotel staff to called orbitz I noticed a few things. First, in the first 10 minutes I was there 3 people came to the front desk to tell them that their room hadn't been cleaned. Some where just requesting towels. I had a friend staying at the hotel and over the course of her 5 day stay I know for a fact at day 4 her room wasn't cleaned. Luckily for me, Orbitz found a room for me at another hotel that was perfect and the room was cleaned everyday. I would not recommend this hotel

Room was okay, water pressure in show was way too low. Personnel were polite and helpful.

We usually stay less than a week. We like the privacy of no one in our room while we are away. We can walk down town with in minutes to visit the city.

We stay at this Hotel twice every year while visiting our Texas family. We enjoy the walk to downtown to visit the stores. Short distance to our son's house.

The hotel is located at a very convenient location. Very close to the city center and the staff is friendly

Our company regularly uses this hotel for business trips.

I can't complain about our stay it worked for what we needed.

Nice friendly staff, the room was dated and in need of a upgraded. The towels were thread bare, and there were not enough for two people. The hVAC system was inconsistent, with no exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Thank you for choosing to stay at our hotel. We are pleased to know you liked our location. However, we are sorry for the issues you had while being here and regret the inconvenience it caused. The condition you described is unacceptable and not at all representative of our quality standards. We are meeting with staff members to discuss this situation and reiterate the importance of impeccable customer service and attention to detail. We invite you to come back and validate the changes we will be implementing and to experience the stay you expect and deserve. Sincerely, Hotel Management
