Had a great experience! It was my wedding anniversary and Kristina Miller made our stay unforgettable! Our suite had all the amenities we needed and the hotel was in perfect walking distance to the boardwalk and other casinos. Would definitely stay again!

None of us in my party that was in my hotel room smoked cigarettes or vapes but yet we got a $250 smoking fee and we do not smoke. I explained this to the manager on duty and he didn’t want to hear it in charge my card I will never be staying at Showboat again and would like the money refunded, putting in a refund for Orbitz As well

There is a definite lack of upkeep. The rugs and old and stained. The door stuck opening it. There is a lack of signage…our room was on the other side of fire doors which we only found through exploration. Either the fire doors should have been open to the older rooms or a sign on the wall indicating where we were going would have been more helpful. The staff was amazing but the resort was in need of upgrades. The attractions were appealing and were clearly the focus of the stay

Had a fall incident in our unsafe bathroom. The room should not have been rented in the first place. Could NOT get in touch with a manager the afternoon it happened or the next day.

Staff was rude immediately at check. Don? Valet Manager was absolutely abusive to me and other customers trying to check in. NO COFFEE ALTHOUGH THERE WAS A MACHINE. WOUOD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. IN FACT IM LOOKING FOR A REFUND. NO RESTAURANTS, NO PLACE TO EAT. I GUESS AC HAS REALLY GONE DOWN THE TIOLET AND SHOWBOAT LEADS THE CHARGE. AWFUL EXPERIENCE. REMODELED ROOMS WERE TAUTED. Check in took over an hour. Asked for Bourbon Tower on reservation, got OLD/DIRTY room in New Orleans tower. Dogs all over hotel, dog messes on sidewalks. There for 4 days, room never cleaned. Rude response when Checking out and asking for copy of statement.

Both of my rooms were dirty, I didn't have any sheets, The bed was dirty had pee stains, I didn't get a blanket until my last night.

Amazing staff

Let me start with how amazing and pleasant the staff was! When we got to check in the line was LONG! Customers were being NASTY! The most child acting adults I have ever seen before in my life. And the staff was just as pleasant and professional as could be. With that being said hotel wise you get what you pay for. I am happy we had a nice clean room. Elevators sucked they were always packed and only ever seemed like 2-3 working at a time. We waited 20mins one day just to get off our floor, I would have been happy to take the stairs but they were no where to be found. The waterpark is expensive and underwhelming. The arcade also expensive and underwhelming. We ended up leaving early just wasn’t the vacation spot for us. It is nice to see the showboat open and thriving again though!!

Young girl at the front desk was very rude and a manager had to be called. The manager was nice. You can call front desk I or for room service. You cannot get anyone on the phone ever!!! Most expensive hotel to stay at with high deposit and the resort fee!
