The room smelled like cigarettes. I never got used to the smell. The bathroom floor was sticky. The walls were so thin. We could hear everyone around us, their actual words, it was not muffled. When toilets flushed, it sounded crazy loud as well. Our bed sheets had stains and holes...it was so gross. Our view was great and I really liked the little mirror in the bathroom for putting my makeup on...although it was dirty and wouldn't wipe clean.

The property was in great condition, very nice sky view of the city the on two problems were Escalators were down so it made traveling through the casino a hugh Inconvenience and the iron in the room wasn’t up to par. So it made time get dress a little longer. But other then that great time watching the fashion show

It was pretty much like a motel . There is no room service . The beds were terrible . It was not the worse but I won’t be staying here again .

The pictures look beautiful but upon arrival the place was not as expected. The 90% of the hotel was shut down due to filming" no slots, no bars, and only one restaurant was open. The room was falling apart. I had to slam my shoulder into door to get into my room as it would not open after the key was inserted. The bathtub wouldn't drain and with 3 people no one wants to stand in someone elses dirty water. Very poor lighting in rooms. Our last day a cockroach was climbing up the bathroom wall. I would not recomend this place to anyone

The room smelled musty. One of the bath towels was extremely wrinkled. The bathroom smelled as well. The refrigerator froze everything. Additionally I was not informed about the timeframe of the parking. It is an outsourced company of the hotel but associated with the hotel, however, I had to get my car by 1:00pm and I checked in the previous day around 4:30pm. I feel that for the price I should have had at least 24 hours of parking. It was a major inconvenience for me to check out at 11:00am and retrieve my car by 1:00pm or I would be charged. I ended up leaving Atlantic City early because I would have had to get additional parking. I will not go back to Showboat. The staff of the hotel was very kind and helpful.

Staff here is very friendly and helpful. Room was ok but missing a lightbulb and we had to find a plug to use the one lamp. Lots of the lightbulbs in the hallway were also out and you could see lots of peeling wallpaper too. Like I said, rooms were ok but the property is in major need of updating. It seemed like every floor had sparkle on the one wall like it was in the middle on being repaired. It was strange.

Showboat was conveniently located on the boardwalk and entertainment. Although it didn’t have a casino it was close to everything! We had a short stay but the room was great - clean/spacious/updated nicely. We will definitely stay again in the future.

I have nothing to say because it wasn't what I thought it was in the past

I wish I have known this was just a shell of what once was; I would have never booked this hotel. We were on the 18th floor, the A/C wasn't working, maintenance came at 1 a.m. to change the extremely clogged filter and turned the electric on and off to get the A/C restarted. The floor, by the room door, was so slanted there was a big gap under the door and you heard everything in the hallway. The bed pillows were awful; so uncomfortable I slept without them - if I slept at all! Never again, will we stay here!

This is an old facility, which would have been fine if it was not so run down. The casino has been removed and turned into a hotel but the carpets were filthy, blood on the carpet in the hallway. At check in we were given the wrong room number. Keys didn’t work (wrong room) back down for new keys and it was an empty room, being renovated. Back downstairs for new keys to the proper room. That took a total of an hour. Over priced and not worth it. Atlantic City has really gone downhill, but at these prices it won’t recover. There are too many other options for people who want to gamble and vacation.

Everything was clean, need more restaurants in the hotel. Should have a little shuttle from the orleans building to the boardwalk.

Great location. Very helpful bell hops.Nice size rooms. Hotel needs a coffee bar.

No more casino and most restaurants have lclosed. Wait to checkin to long 45 minutes. 35 minutes to check bags.

The hotel is over priced and expensive; pool was dirty; plugs in the room need to be replaced; no microwave. $400 for 1 night was ridiculous. The hotel is dull looking. Parking is over priced also.
