The room had some kind of smoke smell, we called the front desk, she said she will send someone, no one ever came, no one ever asked after..only thing, when we checked out we have to pay some kind of tour fee which never said when checked in.. So neglected, the service really bad who wants to go back..

Check in, it was 2:40 check-in was 3:00 they said if we wanted to check in it was a $15 convenience fee for early check-in. Never have I ever went to a hotel room was available and they tried charging me to check in. The hotel smells like smoke everywhere. Even in the dining areas, you're eating food with a thick amount of cigar and cigarette smoke. The hotel had no young people aged 30 or 40. The room was OK, but even though the room was non-smoking, the hallways still smelled like smoke. Will not stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay. However, it started to rain and my window was leaking pretty bad. When the weather is rain the roof leaks. I paid for luxury and got somewhat less. Having said that,The hotel looks nice, it is clean, and the staff is great.

Upon getting to our room, we could hear the room directly next door playing loud music and a few minutes later we started smelling smoke coming through (again same room next door). We notified the front desk in-person at approximately 11.00pm. Coming back to our room we started to hear a loud fight occurring in regards to the hotel’s silent smoke sensors going off and that room having to pay a fine. Then at 2:15am we awoke from loud hand slapping and very loud fight going on to include the people arguing about “lighting up a blunt” again… We finally called security at 3:15am because the loud fight did not cease - then to make things worse, the front desk called my room back a few minutes later so I’m sure the folks in the room next door in the heated fight knew that it was me requesting the noise stop. The front desk manager told me that I could change rooms but I declined since it was almost 4am. A few minutes later a security guard could be heard saying ‘quiet down’ outside in the hallway. Then the fight occurred again a few minutes later with even more loud explicative words, so I called security again and the person this time informed me that we had never spoken to him before and he did not know what was going on. This is unacceptable. Then at 3:50am a group of drunken men were heard singing in the hallway. This hotel is not quiet and the personnel working do not seem to understand how to handle these situations. We will not be staying here again.

The room and hotel was clean. The problem was the property is old, worn, and broke up. So the staff clean the beat they can and the staff are extremely friendly. Unfortunately the hotel needs a make over. Would not pay anything over $100 regardless of the day.

Everything was great but we just didn't have enough time to take advantage of all the amenities. Our room is clean. Pretty nice place to stay. The hot tubs looked fantastic and everything around the casino looked up to date and well cared for. We love the beach so we really enjoyed walking on the beach and had beautiful weather last weekend. It looks like it's going to be nice weather this weekend too! Kudos to the Golden Nugget.
