What I liked was the property being in its own area by the water so that i could look out and feel relaxed and enjoy the scenery. Whatvi didn't like was i picked this hotel based on certain amenities and they werent available. I asked why am i being charged a resort fee when the amenties aren't available? I was told that everybody has to pay and the gym is open. I responded and said but how many peoppe actually use a gym on vacation? Then i expressed that i wasnt going to use the gym. The front desk staff just activated my room card abd passed it to me as to say just deal with it. The same thing happened on check out. I asked why i am being charged resort fee and i didnt use any amenities and she charged my card and passed me a receipt. I even expressed to her that this appears rude but she just gave me a blank stare. I know hotels have to pay to keep certain things runing but if theres an issue it is the hotel's responsibility to accommodate in lieu of the current issue

Surprisingly good rooms for the price. Quieter than the more rowdy casinos in the boardwalk. Definitely more relaxing and they had pretty good music

This was my first time staying at the Golden Nugget. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The casino floor was clean and safe. I will definitely be back.
The line took over 45 min to check in for the room. Honestly was tempted to cancel and go somewhere else. There were 2 large groups ahead of me so I guess it is what it is.other than that the hotel was great
They don’t have enough people working to check people in. Check in starts at 4:00 pm and it took more than an hour to complete check in.
The room is nice. I booked the non-smoking room, but the room smelled smoking when we got back the room from the show after 11pm. I thought it’s just temporary, but it’s whole night . It’s bad for myself and my boyfriend allergies. The check -in staff was not friendly either.

The room had Luke warm water in the shower. There was only one small shampoo for us. Housekeeping did bring more. I wish we got adjoining rooms as requested. Vic Anthony’s steakhouse was amazing!
