The room had some kind of smoke smell, we called the front desk, she said she will send someone, no one ever came, no one ever asked after..only thing, when we checked out we have to pay some kind of tour fee which never said when checked in.. So neglected, the service really bad who wants to go back..

Check in, it was 2:40 check-in was 3:00 they said if we wanted to check in it was a $15 convenience fee for early check-in. Never have I ever went to a hotel room was available and they tried charging me to check in. Needless to say we waited the 20 minutes and it wasn't about the money at this point it was about the principal

The hotel smells like smoke everywhere. Even in the dining areas, you're eating food with a thick amount of cigar and cigarette smoke. The hotel had no young people aged 30 or 40. The room was OK, but even though the room was non-smoking, the hallways still smelled like smoke. Will not stay here again.

we stayed in the best room the hotel had to offer and the view was beautiful but could not make up for the terrible resturants (especially Lily's), lack luster staff and stale guests. Just old white people. If your old and white, please stay here. But my husband and I are Black and in our 30's and just travelled to the Borgata all weekend.

The staff was okay. Some of them could've been more welcoming. A smile goes a long way.The room itself was clean but the bathroom could use some deep cleaning. The parking garage was a mess but it looked like it may be undergoing repairs. For the price, I might stay there again.

Overall, I loved my stay at the Golden Nugget. I stayed there for two nights and loved the amenities, including the spa, sauna and jacuzzi. I got a head/neck and shoulder massage from Jocelyn (sp?) and she was wonderful. The casino was a lot of fun. Ray the bartender at Bar 46 was wonderful; Chazz at the blackjack table helped me with my ignorant questions and room service was delicious. My only complaints was the spotty tv service with clear skies, and the room service menu says it's open on Mondays for breakfast, but their phone menu says they're closed. I was a little grumpy about that, but overall, I had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

It’s a standard casino in AC. The rooms were updated and modern, easy access elevators, and nice front desk people. The stay was during the winter so cannot reflect on the pool or hot tub. Check-in isn’t guaranteed at 4, and they said could be anytime 4-8. For a hotel stay that is taking away 20% of your evening while you pay the same price, and ruining your ability to arrive, get situated and ready for the night, especially if you have an event or reservation. For that reason I wouldn’t stay here again as the risk isn’t worth it to not be able to check in at an appropriate time.
