We liked this place for a few reasons: space/ size of rooms, closeness to beach & friendly staff. It’s easier to walk to most places if you are staying near ship bottom. Driving out to get to beach haven is annoying as you’re right in the causeway traffic. That was the only part we didn’t like as that’s a dangerous intersection.

We had the ocean view room which was excellent. However, inside the room was out dated and needs to be remodeled. The carpet looked dirty and had a coffee stain on it. The bathtub had a slight crack and we notified the front desk. The staff was friendly and amenities were ok.

We were a little upset about the lack of security on the front door & no lock on the patio door. We asked for a "security stick" for the patio door & put a big cooler & suitcase at the door. A 3 & 5 year old could have easily opened the door without the usual top "slide" lock that you see in the big chains.

Terrible experience. Apparently they have another “building” a street over, which is basically a cheap motel. It was dirty, I found two bugs crawling in the bed, the shower flooded the bathroom and the staff basically said since i didnt allow them in my room without me there, i “rejected” their attempt to fix the problem. Even though i asked for another room and got hungup on. Bella was nice and did say to call expedia for refund, then Paul, denied it when expedia called. Definitely dont stay in the low number rooms. Youll overpay for a bad room! What a shame! Will be disputing this!!

Booked an ocean front and we were oceanfront but on the first floor so we could not see the beach. The room looked nothing like the pictures. Kinda of disappointed because the pictures were very misleading meaning that the picture showed a beautiful spacious room and our king room was not big and furniture was just ok. Pillows are awful! Was not able to get extra bath towels as they were given as a set. Loved that they offer beach towels and chairs. Everyone was super nice. Not much within walking distance.

When we checked in and saw the room versus what was shown on the Expedia this was not the same ,also we had 2 other adults as guest listed and was only allowed one parking pass. The same applied to the beach passes, although the receptionist was professional and was following policy ,would not accommodate. I also asked to upgrade to Ocean view was told completely booked.
