The Water Club

I specifically chose this hotel because of the 5 pools which are listed on the website as: "five heated pools -indoor and outdoor, each offering a distinct experience”. As they are all heated and there was nowhere that said the outdoor pools are closed in the winter, I expected them all to be open. However, upon arrival, only 2 were open (1 was the exclusive spa one which cost even more money to use) and the other 3 were closed!!!! When booking the hotel in August, there was no indication that: 1) The Borgata Outdoor Pool would be closed for the winter 2) The Water Club Outdoor Pool would be closed for the winter 3) The Borgata Indoor Pool & Garden would be closed for renovations Given that all of the pools are advertised as all being heated, it is VERY reasonable for each guest to assume that all pools would be open year round. I would not have paid the price to stay at the Water Club given that more than half of the water part of the club was closed!

We had no sheets on our bed and when we called the front desk the lady I spoke too was incredibly rude for no reason.. after a long wait we got our sheets

The overall experience was fine, however, the housekeeping was below par for this type of hotel. The bedding was depressing with dark sheets and mustard blankets. It did not look as if the sheets were changed each day since they looked rumpled under the covers. The bar glasses and ice bucket were not cleaned or replaced daily. The vanity sink and counter didn't seem to be cleaned daily either. IThe housekeeping staff needs to be retrained in order to keep the rooms clean and presentable. The hotel staff in general was accommodating and professional. I used the Spa facilities and was very pleased with the staff and massage. I would return again but would be cautious as to room conditions.

I love the water club! not only because its a premium property. But when you stay at the water club, you feel like your in the middle of everything. yet, apart, tucked away in a little corner away from all the crowds and all that comes with it... you feel like you're in your own little sanctuary .

Would have liked at least a bottle of water at check in.

We loved our stay. We swam in one of the pools, visited the fitness center, gambled in the adjoining casino and admired the view from our room. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay! Room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Pleasant staff and hotel amenities were as promised.

Had a wonderful stay. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

It was awesome asalways, hotel is beautiful, fun. Pool service was not great! But it was ok.

Everything was very nice. Good selection of restaurants. Water club pool was very crowded.

The Water Club and Borgata are probably the nicest hotels in Atlantic City. The differences are very small and unless you're going to use the outdoor pool at the Water club, you might as well stay at the Borgata for about $30 less a night. Not sure if Borgata also charges for WiFi, but that $9.95/ day really sticks in my craw. The hotel has WiFi, and pays one fee for WiFi whether a visitor uses it or not. Also, there's a charge for the fitness center which gives you that Nickel and Diming you feeling instead of elegance and pampering which is what I expected.

The water club at the borgotta was an incredible trip! We went as 3 women on a 3 days relaxation getaway. The rooms were soooo comfortable, clean, cozy and so quiet! The staff at the spa were incredible we each got a treatment each day. Housekeeping was on time and so efficient- room service literally came minutes after we called Pool- indoor and outdoor was relaxing. The staff was so friendly and nice. (The drinks at the bar is amazing) the ambiance at the pool was perfect (music, drinks, location) Best of all- the water club has no kids at the pools so our vacation was very serene.

I loved everything about the water club. It was a great hotel for some1 looking to relax. The pools were fantastic and the service amazing. My only suggestion would be a shuttle bus to the boardwalk. But maybe thats asking for too much.

Very comfortable and the Spa was fabulous. Food great. I did Gamble and won a limitless something :)

We had a great time. The hotel is not connected to the board walk, which is a minor inconvenience.

Hotel was clean and for the most part friendly staff. Bar Tenders at the Gypsie Bar were less then friendly and charged different prices for the same drink. Outside of that experience was very nice.

Great place ! Nice and quite . Awesome spa and clean room . If you want to get away from the loud Casino this would def be your best bet . We arrived early and had no problem checking us in early

Hotel fell below expectations. Biggest shocker? They charge extra for Wifi. Seriously? You pay more for the room to begin with than you do at the Borgata Hotel and they can't provide free Wifi? I went without. Also, room carpet and some of the furnishings had stains. Carpet had several large pulls in the loops. Dangerous.

Stayed here several times. Feels upscale. Love wearing robes provided to pool. Each stay my room had a stunning view of marina area and city lights.

Great hotel, decent food. They are not joking with their check in time and pretty much don't give an early check in.
