I really wanted to like this Hotel. I just kept getting shorted. The shuttle never picked me up at the train station. Even after I called to let them know i was there. Waited 45 minutes and took a taxi. Had to call room service cause once again the room did not have a coffee pit. Or water as they said i would. Small th.is keep being missed but they add up

The hotel itself was very nice. The staff not so much. The night staff said 6 words to me. When I asked if there was water. He mumbled vending machine. It was the security man who told me the vending machine was broke and there is water in your room. The next day i find out the room should have a coffee machine but didn't. They told me if i wanted coffee i had to buy it at the restaurant. They said they didn't know my room didn't have a machine cause no one reported it. REALLY, cause it had to be serviced by a cleaning crew. They don't notice the coffee machine missing? Also no bath mat for the bathroom floor, when getting out of the shower. Should have been a great place but costomer service sure lacked.

Staff are not friendly

Check in was at 3. Room was not ready till 5. Shower tub did not drain, and never did. Stay was only one night. Couldn't sleep doors slamming all night long and morning by the other guests.

Bed was not so comfortae. It overall was a grate place

Room didn’t have a blanket or hangers. I did bring my own. Other than that, I had no issues.

The stay was perfect for our family. Close to Penn Station and good food. Definitely recommend.

The bus shuttle service that they offer is horrible. It took almost 1 hour for the shuttle to get to the airport and they dont tell guests that it only goes around once per hour when you call them about the service. The front desk staff has an attitude problem. They greet you with such serious and annoyed faces like you are inconveniencing them by being there.

I really enjoyed my stay, it’s a beautiful property and definitely worth the price.

It's an old building, bathroom had rusty spots that you can mistaken for blood. Beds are pretty awful because they are old, sunken in springs and hard. You get one hard pillow and one soft pillow that are not that comfy. Room did not have a blow dryer, called the front desk to get one which they said someone will bring one but never did. The one good thing was the view of NYC in thr distance.

Front desk rep was very rude and unfriendly. Not very welcoming at all. Hotel itself was ok. Everything was clean.

Robert Treat Hotel is in an excellent location, short 15 min walk from NJ Penn. the rooms are basic, clean and quiet. We had to request washcloths and coffee/supplies for the coffee maker that weren’t in our room when we checked in. The shuttle from Newark Airport was great, we had a great driver. The lady at the front desk during our stay was rude. She a Ted like we bothered her to do her job. The rest of the staff was great. So nice, very friendly. We will stay there again!

The elevators weren’t working. I was on the 15th floor, and needed to walk on the rooftop to another stairway. Walk down to the 14th floor, then down the hallway and around the corner to a different elevator, take it to the 2nd floor and then walk down the stairs to the 1st floor. Super inconvenient. The front desk wasn’t very helpful. Rather than immediately help me with my problems, they kept seeing other people in line behind me before solving my problem. The shuttle didn’t pick me up at the train station either. I called the hotel and asked for the free shuttle service and they told me to meet at the train station but it never came. I had to pay for an Uber and when I go to the hotel, the shuttle was just sitting in front of the hotel.

I don't think that PAYING guests should have to find parking and be inconvenienced because the hotel decides to host a wedding. The hotel staff was rude as can be. We had to park in front of a hotel exit door. I was so afraid we would be towed. Not only that it was a fire hazard to block that door that way. The hotel was very loud and made it difficult to rest. To describe the staff that did not give their names, it was a male and a female. The guy was light-skinned and bald he wore glasses. and the female was dark-skinned with long hair.

Thanks for the feedback, All rooms have blankets and hangers. The blankets are located under the sheets. With regards to the hangers, we do apologize you did not have any in your room as it is a standard for every room to have hangers. Your concerns will be relayed to housekeeping and we will be very meticulous and ensure all rooms are well equipped with hangers,
