Tropicana Atlantic City

The Chelsea Tower is a separate building across the street from the Tropicana, Every time you wanted to go to your room you had to go outside in the cold, Room was not clean-not vacuumed near the base of the bed and dresser. This facility has a restaurant, but again you had to exit the bldg. in the cold to get to it, No microwaves available for customer use. Beautiful ocean view from the room.

Booked a north tower ultra king room and paid more for it just to get a handicap room in the west tower; it had fake wood floor which anytime some dropped something the whole wing could hear it. The bathroom was gross with broken switches, the shower head wouldn’t stay in place. It’s just not worth the price

we stayed for one night, unexpected clean and lots of shopping eating and walking around space for family members for not going to the casino. I wish the hotel can improve the check-in time speed, waited much too long and slow !

My husband and I booked a room at “Chelsea” for a quick overnight trip. Never again! It took us about 30 mins just to figure out where to check in. The guy who checked us in, Kevin, I think, was nice. But gave us a 2 minute speech about not checking in there in the future. Dear lord. Then we had to walk through a parking garage to get to the door to where we were supposed to be. This was the worst set up, especially in the cold weather! We stayed at the Chelsea before, but I guess the owners have changed? Please, do yourself a favor and spend either more on an actual casino hotel room OR, just stay at Tryp or anywhere else that is within walking distance to the Quarter. It would’ve been much easier to walk across the street than trying to navigate the disaster of a maze between the Tropicana and Chelsea Tower. Had we planned on staying for more than 1 night and not just for a comedy show, we will go elsewhere. This was terrible. It really just felt like we were in an old hospital room with a new bed. This place is in dire need of renovations. We will definitely not be back.

Always a pleasure with good entertainment good food and good people all around you.I what are my favorite hotels to stay in Atlantic City.

The newest addition to the resort is really nice, besides having to cross a sketchy street and walk through a unguarded parking garage to get from the casino and back to your room, and your room to the casino. Other than that the new tower is nice.

Excellent location delicious good inside out love this resort.....

Very clean and amazing staff. Excellent restaurants and great shops

My only issue is that my original reservation was not available when arriving at the hotel. I booked a king size bed non smoking room in the Havana Tower and upon arrival, was advise they our reservations were in the West Tower. The hotel rep at check-in was able to find us a room in the Havana Tower but it was 2 Queen beds. I was traveling with my husband for his 45th birthday and would have been nice to get the room we booked. Does the hotel not honor Orbitz reservations?

room was clean but there were no water in the shower, a plumber came around 4am to get fix smh

I reserved a king size bed and they gave me Queens was not happy

I was so upset that the Chelsea Tower was not connected to the main hotel. I literally had to walk outside just to go to the main building. Although it was really nice I would've rather stayed in a room that was in the actual building

The title of this review is because the Trop purchased the Chelsea Hotel which is a block away from the Trop. I was put in the Trop Chelsea Tower, which you have to walk outside of the Trop and down the street to get to it. I was not very happy about it. The Trop main building is a great location, right on the boardwalk and the beach. Great restaurants - Carmine's included.

It was a little hard to found the main entrance. Other than that everything was great, great hotel, nice room with a lot of comfort. Afordable price.

Bed was excellent. Bathroom good. More towels needed. Microwave please!

So much fun our room even had a partial ocean view !! Granted we were in Chelsea tower which I was unaware of and was a little bit of a walk to the casino... there is not one thing I can complain about... our room was right in front of the elevator... which initially made me nervous about noise... however we had no interruptions... I mean how long are u really in your room while in AC ??

We stayed in the south tower and our first experience with the Trop was the dis-interested staff on the sidewalk outside the lobby. Getting direction to the self park was a chore. Finding my way back across the casino floor and the Quarter was like navigating a foreign country. Again unhelpful staff could not direct me back to check in. The hallway outside the room was dirty and one of our neighbors was smoking a lot of pot. It was the first thing you smelled getting off the elevator. Our "ocean view room" had a partial ocean view. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice but the carpet in that room was about 10 years overdue for a change. The Irish pub at the Quarter was awesome and the casino was nice by AC standards, but I doubt we will be back. On a side note Orbits sent us to the wrong place. My itinerary said we would be staying at the Chelsea but that building is only open on the weekends, so I doubt I will use Orbits again.

We stayed at Tropicana this past weekend for my birthday. There are a ton of restaurants and clubs to enjoy. We ended up at Boogie Nights and it was a blast. The only downside was the hotel room smelled a little like smoke, and the pillows smelled. I had messaged the hotel about tickets to my the club for my birthday with no reply. Otherwise it was a great time!

Great place to stay everything is close by food, entertainment and shopping. Grate staff and even security card by the elevators make you feel very safe.

They offer Tropicana and it is not. It's a different building they just bought air conditioning you can't adjust it too hot for me. Room dusty. They need to work on that.
