While overall the rooms were beautiful and our stay was good, there were a few things that were a bit disappointing, especially considering our rate per night for the room. 1) My biggest disappointment was that when walking around the room barefoot, our feet were black from picking up dirt off the laminate wood flooring. Even after showering one of the days and only walking around for just a few minutes, I needed to wash my feet off in the sink to get all the dirt off (it looked like particles of black dust collected together). 2) The other thing that was disappointing was the turnaround time for valet brining up our bags. When we arrived, we were told by valet that they would bring our bags up *as soon as* we checked in. It was late in the day and there were no other people in the lobby or valet line so we figured it wold not take long. We checked in, got to our room, waited around for an hour and they had not arrived with our items. I had to call the front desk 2 times after that hour to check on our bags, and in total we waited almost 1.5 hours for our belongings, which included breastmilk that needed to get into the freezer and our children's clothes that we needed to get them into bed ASAP. 3) Lastly, the pool hours were 10-8 which left us no time as parents to get in an early swim or late night hot tub dip (obv one parent at a time while one of us stayed with the kids). Next time we visit LBI we will not be staying there.

Beautiful hotel but the bathroom was dirty there was spills mark on the island which I had to clean and the floors in the room was very dusty have to change like 3 socks .

I usually don't write bad reviews, but I am really upset about our experience in Hotel LBI. I booked this hotel for my daughters 17th birthday - and yes, it was a very nice touch, that they left a little note and a cake in the room for her. But, we booked the hotel because of the pool and because of Covid, I booked our pool appointments one week in advance. But when we came to our pool appointment the pool was so full, that you did not even have room inside the pool, nor the hotter and certainly none of the chairs were available either. They told me, they let 50 people in - 50!! in a small pool! that is even in Non-Covid times way too much for that small pool. And I am not sure, if 50 people is really the limit from the health department - that does not sound safe. Also there were no bathrobes in the room, the linen had sand on it and when trying to ring the front desk, nobody picks up. They were obviously too overwhelmed with the amount of people. It is a very poorly managed hotel - and I wish we would have chosen another destination for my daughters 17th birthday.

Hotel is great, but amenities very limited due to the pandemic - which is totally understandable. Restaurant is not open as we are still off season, even though the hotel was full of people for spring break.

Hotel LBI is an amazing property. Beautiful color/decor in the rooms that flow throughout the property, tranquil, relaxing yet lively at the same time. Alexis and Devon at the desk are very friendly and a joy to deal with. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is so beautiful and is in a great location. Even though it’s right off the causeway you don’t here the traffic when inside which is great. The pool and the rooftop bar are gorgeous. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Like = New and clean. Dislike = Reception desk staff not too friendly, they looked annoyed. Should have option to Valet or self park. Location is bad, right in the middle of a main roadway that is non stop traffic makes it hard to exit and enter.

Quite luxurious, very clean, with many complementary things like beach chairs, bikes, shuttle to beach, etc. Location ok but not great if u want to walk to the beach. One day our room was not made

Hotel LBI is at 5-star hotel. Luxurious room. Comfortable beds. Beautiful pool area with retractable roof. Rooftop had an amazing view. Chair/towel/boogie board and most of all shuttle availability made going to the beach worry free. I would definitely only stay at this hotel again. It’s in ship bottom nj. Not beach haven. It’s about 20 min from beach haven. Nowhere really to walk around in ship bottom but a 20 min drive isn’t bad at all.

The hotel was so nice, clean and the staff was very helpful and polite. The only possible complaint is the one set of elevators that everyone has to use to go to their rooms as the same time that people are tring to get to the rooftop restaurant, it slows everything down.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great service. Pool and pool bar were perfect for my family during the day. Hotel is geared to families with young children

Overall a nice hotel. Brand new so maintenance had to look at the air conditioner which is very loud, the TV that would fade to black and bathroom door that would not close. Professional maintenance staff and attentive.

I usually don't write bad reviews, but I am really upset about our experience in Hotel LBI. I booked this hotel for my daughters 17th birthday - and yes, it was a very nice touch, that they left a little note and a cake in the room for her. But, we booked the hotel because of the pool and because of Covid, I booked our pool appointments one week in advance. But when we came to our pool appointment the pool was so full, that you did not even have room inside the pool, nor the hotter and certainly none of the chairs were available either. They told me, they let 50 people in - 50!! in a small pool! that is even in Non-Covid times way too much for that small pool. And I am not sure, if 50 people is really the limit from the health department - that does not sound safe. Also there were no bathrobes in the room, the linen had sand on it and when trying to ring the front desk, nobody picks up. They were obviously too overwhelmed with the amount of people. It is a very poorly managed hotel - and I wish we would have chosen another destination for my daughters 17th birthday.

We do regulate how many guests can enjoy the pool area based on state capacity limits and regulations but will definitely look into increasing the seating accommodations in that area!
