Checking - in: The Young Lady at the front desk was the sweet but it was definitely an eye sore!! I wasn’t pleased with the assortment of pizza menus spread out at the front desk and the cardboard box of hotel room keys. That man at the door drunk, slurrying his words while speaking to me with sunglasses on at night was suspicious. The Room: Clean, shower smelled of Mold and I had to go to the front desk to retrieve my coffee cups. Oh what hotel doesn’t offer drinking glasses for water- this one Elevator: minus the Plan B argument I over heard and the Eyelashes on the floor it was ok Checking out: The man at front was counting quarters , while I informed him of my leaving. He instructed that I throw the room keys into the eye catching cardboard box. I believe this hotel had volunteers in the lobby! A strange man offered me a ride, I asked if he was cab driver or employee of the hotel. He confirmed neither. Parking: no complaints

No service all staff was gone by 5 front desk outside smoking no wash cloths tv didn’t work

Hotel was indeed nice . I just find it weird that they ask you to sign a non smoking agreement when the whole hotel smelled like marijuana. This is including elevator and the halls but other than that it was clean.

When I arrived and walked in the building, the lobby is very dark. Reminds me of a night club inside. I rented the family room with the bunk bed. The room was nice, lived the bathroom. The room could have been cleaner. The rug needed to be vacuumed. I brought my own sanitizer wipes and wiped surfaces down. There were no cups in the room for the coffee maker. When I turned down the bed I found hair. Also in the bath, it had burn stains on the toilet top even tho this was a non smoking room. The bath towels had strains of hair stuck in the fabric. At the end of the night when I returned to my room with my family, the lobby had a group of teens hanging around the elevators. I got in the elevator with my family of 5 to get back to the room, when these 2 teens tried to jump in the elevator with us. There is signs posted no more than 4 in the elevator or a family. Well the elevators don’t move unless you have a room key card. So I had to tell them they couldn’t hop a ride with us, we are in a pandemic. The lobby security is useless. Overall, the room was nice. Perfect for the kids to sleep. Just could have been cleaner. It’s perfectly located downtown.

Clean and cute with helpful friendly staff. Modern and unique decor that gives off a fun, cool vibe. (unfortunately the bar/restaurant was closed during my stay due to COVID but it looked very nice and upscale) Located directly DT and only a couple blocks from Grand central Station. (free shuttle service available... they dropped me off to GCS) If I am ever in Newark again, I'll def stay here!

Location was great! Our room was clean. The room was decorated nice. The pricing was reasonable. When we arrived there were no wash clothes or cups in the room. The second day there was only 1 washcloth. The next day it wasnt cleaned so we had none. We went downstairs to get some and she said they would be brought to the room..1 hr later no towels and i had to go track someone down on the floor. No one would ever answer the front desk phone...from the room phone or a personal cell phone. You have to pay for parking. The bad isnt worth saying we would never stay here again but over all experience was just ok.

I arrived at 3pm for check-in and my rooms weren’t ready. I came back after 5pm and they still weren’t ready. The front desk associate didn’t know when it would be ready. After an early morning flight and waiting around to get into a room, I cancelled my reservation and had to find another hotel. There were a number of upset customers waiting in the lobby. I watched security run chase someone trying to get on the elevator to go to the rooms. Didn’t feel safe. Would not recommend this hotel.

Ultimately room was clean and comfortable. The first room I checked into likely had not been cleaned because the bed had not been made. I advised the front desk staff that I would go for a walk while they found a clean room but when I returned they began searching for a new room. Also it was loud, it seems multiple groups check in to hang out in the rooms or the entrance to the hotel. I would stay here again because of comfort, convenience and location.

A good location, nice view, I call the bed a single bed not a queen bed They got no microwave.

Stayed during COVID but they had coffee but no cups. Called down for cups, glasses and utensils and they claimed to not have any. Lamp in room didn’t work. No fridge or microwave. It didn’t feel like a real Wyndham property

I really like the hotel but this time the experience was a lil off...Very busy lobby and the 1st room I was given was not cleaned at all I had to go back down to get another room then when I gt to next room we had no washcloths..I return I just hope better service.

checked in for one night, on checking in I Asked guy at the front desk where can I park, he directed me to the parking lot, got there and was approached by security asking for some "TAG" went back inside to query about same, was told he`s sorry and i was then given one and told to place in my car, all the while NO ONE, explained that I'm going to be charged for parking, PARKING that wasn't needed since there was tons of parking on the street, anyways noticed the charge on my card, called the hotel to figure out what it was for, Guess it was just my luck as ran into the worse person I could have ever run into, she was rude, disrespectful, even invited me to come to the hotel "you must not know who you're talking too" just disgusting, hope no one ever stays there again, I know I`ll not be doing so...... Disappointed
