This is now my family’s favorite hotel. We had a 2 week stay in deluxe family room with full size refrigerator. Location is in quieter part yet steps away from all the popular food spots. We wanted to spend more time in Chinatown and Lower Manhattan so this was the perfect location. It was also easy to take train/bus to make the trek uptown. Front desk and everyone were so helpful! Big shout out to housekeeping, the ladies were so sweet and quickly accommodated our special requests. Hotel is little older but based on the value, this is to be expected. Beds are very comfortable, we all slept well. Our suggestion would be to include a microwave in the room to heat up our leftovers and goodies from exploring Chinatown. And the safe was not user friendly so we ended up not using. Besides these overall excellent, we visit NYC multiple times a year and plan to come back!

I absolutely would stay here again. Check in was smooth and everyone I encountered during my stay were very nice. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I usually need a box fan or sound machine for noise but I never even heard a horn or siren in the night. Easy walk to the subway and close to everything. I plan on staying here moving forward!!!

First trip to NYC staying in a hotel. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and hospitality of the staff. Was the cheapest option amongst other hotels that were $1k+ but all had terrible reviews. This place was great, tucked away in a seemingly nice location with plenty of great food options and stores around as it’s right on the border of Chinatown and Little Italy. Room was spacious and bathroom was very accommodating. Will definitely be staying here again!

The room and bathroom were ginormous, and the beds were a solid good (not great, but quite good). Staff was kind and area was safe and quiet. I would definitely stay here again. We had minor trouble with the thermostats which are coded and didnt adjust when changes for us by staff.

We were really surprised by the hotel. You never know what you are going to get when you book a NYC hotel, but this one had plenty of space for our family of 3. Basically laid out like a two bed studio. We had a full fridge and kitchen (no way to heat food), bathroom and two full/queen beds. Perfect for our stay. Even with us being right across from the elevator it was still a great room. Seriously I tried to find something wrong and really couldn't ;0). The water pressure was INCREDIBLE. The location was great for the subway and felt safe to us. We have come to NYC before and had a hard time coming back to the hotel for breaks...not with this hotel. It is so conveniently located we could come back and put our feet up for a little bit before adventuring out again. Oh and the food in the area was fantastic. Would totally recommend to families.

The room was basic. The staff charged me an extra hundred dollars for a room deposit when they were already paid in full they were rude about it. Will not stay again. Not worth 235$. No vending machine as described. Ice was in bag in the cooler. More of a motel than a hotel.

The staff was super friendly and helpful!! The room was appointed nicely and the daily room service was very efficient! The location of the hotel was convenient to both Chinatown and little Italy and subway stops were plentiful! This was our second stay at the Mulberry and we will return again, next year, for our pre-Christmas trip to NYC!! 5 STARS!!

Everything was fine - the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the staff nice on check-in and check-out. I love the Chinatown location, close to a lot of great things to do, and this particular block is really quiet, across from a park (except for a few police sirens in the morning). I do think the management could do a little more to put the hotel's best foot forward - the front of the hotel shouldn't be so dark when you walk up to it; the lobby could use some decorating; the doors on the rooms need repainting, as did the doors on the closet inside the room. But in most of the ways that matter, it was a nice stay.
