Reasonable rate-by New York standards, but you get what you (don’t) pay for. Staff was pleasant, but didn’t follow up on communications. Concept was excellent, execution was weak. Door locks jammed repeatedly, it took many tries to get in the room, TV didn’t work, no on-site staff to make repairs; problems rectified by offering a late checkout and free bottles of water. Chair at a desk that was elevated to only be useful for standing, same for nightstand-couldn’t reach lamp without getting out of bed. There was no place to sit at a table space. Shower door slammed shut by itself so hard you thought it was going to break. Toilet tricky to flush, no shelf in the shower for shampoo, etc. In fairness, all this is par for the course at these prices in the city.

This property has an amazing location, you’re literally in the heart of the east village. The staff are amazing and super friendly. We had a slight issue in our room and they quickly helped us and moved us to another room that was even better than the first. I recommend this property to anyone that is looking for a cool location and a friendly on site staff. Ilene who is there in the morning was awesome and really made me feel comfortable, she resolved my issue fast and I enjoyed talking with her whenever I passed through the lobby/front desk.
It's one of the few hotels in a pretty residential area, and it was nice to have a kitchen right there in the room.
It was simple & easy check in and convient location wise. Definetly gonna stay there again.
Nowhere in the hotel's information or Orbitz's information did it mention that there isn't an elevator. I believe the lack of information is an ADA violation. I have a disability. I don't know what someone in a wheelchair would have done. We moved out. Thankfully, the hotel and Orbitz refunded our money.
Property was walking distance to everything. Great restaurants and bars.

It's a tiny room. It is in a great location with tons of great restaurants and bars. It was very clean. I had been in NY for a week and was just staying here for one night. I had a big suitcase. I had no idea there was no elevator. I was on the 3rd floor :/ Taking it down those stairs at 5:00 A.M. the next morning was not fun. Other than that it was a great stay.
Linens were stained. Shower was moldy. But worst of all, the mattress was disgusting. Couldnt wait to get out
East village neighborhood boutique hotel. Not your typical chain hotel. Brick walls, comfortable bed, with all the basic necessities; comes with with microwave, small fridge, kitchen utensils. Coffee shop downstairs. Nearest subway about 4 - 5 blocks away. 4 floors, no elevator.
