Host was non-existent except for an automated response. Their 1800 number was minimally helpful as we got snowed in and needed help getting plowed out in time for check out... couldn't even offer us a late check out. The house had pro/cons. Pro - very good hot water, but the rest of house needs help. There is a for sale sign on the fridge which tells us a lot. The spare home door wouldn't close all the way so snow was blowing inside of it. Shower liners are molded. Fridge/kitchen was decent. It says it houses 16 people but only enough kitchen chairs /table space for 14. Neighborhood was very nice and neighbors very nice - they helped plow us out. Cockroach was downstairs. Couch outside had burn marks. The hot tub was nice and heated up well. Would we stay again - probably yes as it fit us all really nicely and was good enough, but I'm used to staying in homes with actual people as hosts and it's just so much more personable.

We couldn't enjoy our stay due to maintenance & cleanliness issues & would not recommend this rental. The lock was malfunctioning upon arrival, & we were left in the dark for over 2 hours. They kept telling us to re-enter the code & blaming my mother in law for not entering it correctly. Once they finally sent a manager, they realized the lock wasn't working. The bedding was dirty, especially the pillows, duvets, & pillow covers. Mattress pads were so covered in hair we could see it through the sheets. The pillows themselves had big stains, & nothing had a protective cover. I spent the entire day washing our bedding, & it still felt dirty. The exterior was littered with beer cans, cigarette butts, marijuana cigarette butts, & plastic trash. Both couches in the main living room have torn apart back cushions. The porch rug is falling apart.Carpets are sticky & gross & turned our feet black immediately.The non stick pans are so badly scratched we were afraid to use them, but thankfully they did have a few stainless ones. When we arrived the water was running in one of the bathtubs, & the fixture was broken, so it couldn't be shut off, amongst other plumbing issues. They sent a plumber who left drywall dust everywhere, which we had to clean up.The hot water was off when we arrived.If we could have enjoyed the amenities instead of cleaning, washing the bedding, or waiting for the plumber it might have been a fun weekend. Our weekend was ruined.

Great space

Highly Recommend to rent, but not the sturdiest construction so I wouldn't buy one of the homes. Faucets were loose and/ or falling off. Still worked, but I did feel I was close to catastrophe...

A wonderful stay at a fun home!

We booked a short spring break trip to this home with our five boys and it did not disappoint! Vacasa was so thorough with communication so it was a breeze checking in and getting help when we needed it. The home was clean and well-appointed with clear instructions throughout. The beds were comfortable. We loved the hot tub and fire pit. We hope to return!

Great location and property…one complaint

The property wasn’t cleaned properly - dirty towels, wrappers and crumbs on the floor. It felt like someone didn’t come to clean before our stay. Everything else was great. Location, responsiveness, and size of the home.

Christmas vacation

Our whole family of 15 had a wonderful time at this property for our Christmas get together! The house was beautiful and well equipped and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We all really enjoyed the two game rooms, especially since it rained during our visit and we couldn’t get outdoors as much as we would have liked. An added bonus was guest access to the Garrett Community College recreation area which we took advantage of on a rainy day. Another advantage of this property was the separate guest house and rec room which was perfect for the family with very young children who go to bed early and need a quiet place away from the noise! We would definitely come to this house again!

Christmas Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had 6 adults and 10 kids in our group and this house was the perfect spot. Plenty of room and a lot of things for the kids to do. My family and I cannot say enough. Great place and we will return! Definitely liked the fact that it was far enough away from any other property so we didn’t have to worry about disturbing neighbors.

Cousins weekend!

So 16 cousins got together ranging from 14-74 and stayed Fri-Sun. Everyone had a good time. Loved the hot tub, the games provided, pool tables, video games. The works!! Whomever took over this property knows how to keep a family busy. Kitchen well equipped, the only thing had issue with was couldn’t get over to work. Other than that⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In a quite neighborhood

When we reached the house it was 91 degrees inside in July. I call the number in email for emergency issues. They said they would have a technician give me a call and come out, that was on Friday when I reached. Saturday morning came technician give me a call and come out, that was on Friday when I reached. Saturday morning came no call still. still no call, about 130. A technician shows up at the house, named Jason, who proceeded to tell me that the AC unit went out earlier in the week and that the part was ordered but it just came in. Which no one notified me before coming that there was not gonna be any AC. But overall the place was nice, the pictures make the space seem bigger than it really was in the living room, and dining room area.

Vacationers' Paradise

We loved that the house was large enough for all 9 of us to have our own space. The kids loved the bunk room (4 bunk beds) where they could all sleep together! We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table, and the game room. We wanted to use the fire pit but ran out of time. We had a great vacation and would definitely go back!

Mother’s Day weekend

Guest house great but a shower would be nice. Main house great. Basement shower did have a slow drain. Hot tub great. Deck wonderful. Could use a potato peeler. Regular coffee pot. Larger cookie pan. But in general we were pleased & would rent again.

Confusing due to problems existing on arrival!

The house was a great size. We had several problems when we arrived: 1) On stove only 1 of 4 burners worked 2) Many Pool sticks were broken but we found 2 that were usable. 3) Bottom shelf on refrigerator door was unusable 4) In carriage house, toilet tissue holder was broken When we called to report the above problems, your repair man was there promptly and fixed what he could and took pictures of the other problems. 5) Kitchen was very well stocked for dishes etc. but very disorganized.

Christmas holiday

The home was as described and had enough space for our holiday trip of 11. There was plenty of room and space for crafts, games and enjoying each other’s company. There were a few small issues during our stay: some of the.linens on the beds were not clean (noticeably), the sliding the doors in the main living room leaked during a heavy rain storm where our gifts were and the pinball and air hockey table did not work. Overall we all enjoyed ourselves .

Best weekend ever.

My family and I spent a weekend here celebrating a birthday. We had the most wonderful weekend watching Christmas movies by the beautiful tree the owners set up. They had adorable Christmas decorations. We had an amazing trip. Everything was so clean and organized.

Great value for excellent accommodations

Really enjoyed staying at this property. Was close enough to Deep Creek for easy access to many of the amenities without the cost associated with staying in McHenry. Everything was clean, it was spacious, and the customer service was excellent as well. I will absolutely look to book this property again.

Much Needed Getaway!

This cabin was as beautiful as the pictures. We met our friends there for a chill mountain getaway. There was plenty of beds for everyone and we absolutely loved the wraparound porch and hot tub. The separate game room and fire pit were also huge hits. The place was perfectly clean and the host very communicative. We had no problem checking in and checking out, and went for daily excursions to nearby Wisp and Swallow Falls. It was quiet and tucked away from the crowds but not too remote. We had such a good time that we're definitely planning on returning in the future!
