Parking is easy, well lit parking lot. Staff was very nice and courteous. Hot breakfast, I had eggs, sausage and grits. There were other items to choose from. My room mini fridge didn’t get cold. Bathtubs are extremely slippery. Strange green substance on shower curtain.

Reservation made and requested top floor room. Immediately called Comfort Inn and Suites and asked if we received reservation. Spoke with Luke he said yes told him we requested top floor room. He said I’ll be here tomorrow and make sure you get one. Upon arriving to Baton Rouge around 130pm went to Comfort Inn and asked if we could check in. Was told no too early. Rooms weren’t clean, we understood that again requested top room floor. We came back approximately 430 pm to check in now Luke was there, I gave him my name and said I talked to you on phone when made reservation. He was polite, asked for top room floor was told no none available nothing they could do and said when we came by at 1:30 pm she should have moved someone and put us on top floor. We went to our room. It was dirty, open refrigerator to put some water in, was old food in it and opened drink container, and it smelled horrible. Reception desk was notified. We were also told that manager would call us. My husband gave his phone number. Next morning about 5:30 or 6:00 am my husband went down yo get coffee. It was stone cold. He told s lady snd was told nothing she could do was shirt handed. It seemed that each played each other as the bad guy very unprofessional . Will never stay there again.

Upon arriving everything in the room looked clean and well kept. As we ruffled the pillows 2 of the 4 pillows on the bed were covered in makeup/stained.

Property was beautiful overall, in a nice area of town, and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However I had no housekeeping service during my 2 day stay and a toilet that was loosely connected to the floor at the base and rocked when it was used. Never had a toilet with that issue at any hotel.

There was nothing extraordinary about the property, but it did fit our needs -- near the highway, clean, efficient, and near our destination.

However I had no housekeeping service during my 2 day stay and a toilet that was loosely connected to the floor at the base and rocked when it was used.
