We love this Wilmington Christiana location and have had many a stay-cation there, but this evening was exceptional. It was a beautiful early fall evening so we decided to have dinner on the patio and then retire to the fire pit for an after dinner drink and dessert...an absolutely perfect way to start my romantic birthday without any children around! Yay!

From the outside, this Hilton looks more like a typical Hilton Garden Inn. But inside, it's Hilton, especially after the renovation. Rooms are well furnished and updated. The courtyard is very nice. A great fitness center, and wonderful executive lounge. There aren't many nice hotels in that area. This one is my favorite choice for sure.

Hotel was excellent; room accommodations were top notch; very friendly and supportive staff. Meeting room was close by the lobby and our hospitality room was conveniently located. Parking was plentiful and hotel was close to highways/

We travel a lot. A lot, a lot. My husband and I own a conference planning company and spend more than 40% of our time in hotels. So when I get exceptional customer service, I know it. And very much appreciate it. We booked our room at the Hilton Wilmington / Christiana a day in advance. To be honest, it's been awhile since we've stayed in a Hilton, as we have grand-poobah elitist status with one of the other brands. But for a variety of reasons, we decided to give Hilton another try. On the road to Wilmington, I downloaded the app on my phone. I was given the option to check in and to choose our own room, which I really liked until I saw the options. One appeared to be tucked behind a staircase and looked to be literally half the size of all of the other rooms on the floor. There was only one other option, so I chose it. I was given the option to check-in through the app, so I did. I then opted for the digital key. I was told that the request for the room would be made and if it became available, I would be given the digital key. Within I noticed a button to message the hotel, so I decided to test it. I clicked and typed in a request for two extra feather pillows for our room. Within minutes I had a response from "Cassandra" that my pillows would be waiting for me in my room along with two complimentary bottles of water. Nice touch! When we arrived on site, my digital key on the app had turned to green along with a confirmation that the room I had selected was mine. We stopped at the front desk to ask if we needed to do anything else and lo and behold, met Cassandra who recognized me from my pillow message. It was great to see that she was a real person, onsite, and not a bot overseas! She did ask if we wanted a physical key as well as the digital one, as the digital one only works on one device. Good point. We picked up the spare and headed to our room. The room was a standard issue Hilton. The pros: the bed was the most comfortable one we'd slept on in months. Deep and firm, we both wanted to take this mattress home with us. Cons: the window is relatively small and because of what we were able to see in the rooms across the courtyard, we knew that they were not mirrored, so leaving the curtains open was not an option for us after dark. This created a bit of an issue the next morning when we slept until almost 9! (Fortunately we had nowhere we had to be, but it did make us almost miss the concierge club breakfast.) The bathroom is VERY small, but thankfully still has a bathtub (I NEED a tub! Don't get me started...) The attendant in the club was in the process of taking down the breakfast when we arrived at 9:50, but offered, over and over again to prepare eggs or anything else we might want. We were impressed with the cheese and meat display in addition to the usual club style offerings. The club itself has been recently redone and it shows. It's a very nicely appointed room with amenities available to guests with access 24/7. (Marriott's club lounges are closed when they are closed. No access to coffee, water, beverages or snacks) We will definitely stay at this property again!

I love the new renovation improvements. The front desk is bright and cheeri. The bar/restaurant area is open and bright. The food quality and choices are much improved. As always the staff here is outstanding in providing customer service.

Excellent stay, pros - the most comfortable bed ever,new spotless property, friendly and helpful staff. Good fitness center. Only cons - Not many dining options nearby, no uber eats and I felt like the hotel restaurant's menu was pretty limited. Everything was super salty. Also I'm always disappointed not to be offered an upgrade as a frequent customer and gold member when the hotel is not even close to full. Overall, I will definitely come back

On arrival I was met by helpful desk clerk who pointed out the kitchen was about to close if I wanted anything to eat. Got the order placed and then checked in. Meal of crab cakes were as described-- crab meat not a touch with lots of breading. My co-worker like his ribs meal also. The room was large. Only issue is the lighting was limited--could have used more lights in some area. Over several days the breakfast was average. One issue was the parking was limited. If you came at 10 or later, would need to drive around multiple times to find a spot.

Excellent full service hotel for a very excellent price. We had a king room which includes breakfast. The room was large, clean and updated. The new decor is relaxing and mellow. We did have breakfast which was not that good and my only complaint. We were hoping to use the outdoor pool and hot tub but it was raining. Free self park was good and parking was close to the front door. Definitely would stay here again!

I really appreciate this hotel. The staff is wonderful, accommodating and helpful. They offer a shuttle service that is very flexible to the locations in the area and to my work. They have completely redone the hotel and it is beautiful.

This is where my husband & I always stay when we have doctor appointments or one of us need surgery. They are very accompanying and also have a shuttle service that takes us to both. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are great. I don't have any complaints here.
