This place is always an affordable option especially in the summer. It was clean and I had no issues. The two ladies at the front desk have been there for years and are always so nice and welcoming.

The hotel is just yards away from the ocean! The room was very nice with comfortable beds, a microwave and refrigerator. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was great with crystal clear water. We will be back next year!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. However the rooms have bed bugs. I had to pack up and make last moment reservations at another hotel.
Bed bug crawled right up to me while sitting on the bed.

This property needs a complete renovation. Location is ideal. Hall rug smelled and had dirty stains. Rooms had kitchen table (no desk) and 2 metal kitchen chairs. A small futon used for a sofa was uncomfortable. No sofa or chairs to sit on. Refrigerator froze all products in there. As much as I like the location the property needs HELP!! Will not return.

Very close to the beach and all other areas. Really liked the affordability yet it doesn’t feel like it’s run down. Could use a little sprucing up but for the price I am good. All the staff was very pleasant outgoing and helpful during our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location! A block from either ocean or bay. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Parking for free on the premises is definitely a perk. A bike rack would be helpful though. The rooms could use a little updating and a loveseat or arm chair. We’ve been there 3 years in a row and will likely return.

Friendly, clean and incredibly relaxing!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. The pool is beautiful and even the other guests, (many who say they are repeat guests) were friendly and cheerful. The gym was nice, the wifi was solid and they had fresh coffee in the lobby 24/7. Even the parking garage is spotlessly clean! We've stayed in Rehoboth before but this was our first stay in Dewey Beach and it is definitely our new favorite. Loads of amazing food options with live music at night within an easy walk, and beautiful quiet beach at the end of the block, that continues into pristine state park beaches just to the south. Our stay was during the week late in the season but it was blissfully relaxing. Its easy and fast to get to the boardwalk or mile in Rehoboth or if you want to, but if you want a laid back beach town vacation Dewey Beach and The Gold Leaf are the spot!
