Nice Resort. Staff is fairly slow. Self parking is very inconvenient.

I loved the hotel it was a very nice and clean room and the staff were excellent I plan on coming there again really soon can't wait to go back

Great place! Costly, but if you want indulgence this is it.

We had a wonderful time at Saddlebrook resort ! We went down to Florida for a quick break from the cold up North and were not disappointed. We played golf every day.The 2 courses were in great shape and not crowded, Chris, the golf director was the best, we would go back just for him! The dining option at night was a sports bar/ steak house together and after the first night we stuck with the steak which was the best ever! Only downside were the pillows, like marshmellows!

Rooms were clean & comfy, but outdated (we got the squeaky floor suite). Wanted to experience more of the amenities, but everything (spa, activities, food, drinks) were way overpriced. Would stay here again, if we got a good deal like this time, but would bring our own stuff to make cocktails, etc, and would eat somewhere else. The pool was excellent, though, but we forgot our sunscreen, and had to pay $16 for tiny little bottle from the gift shop. Oh, the price to pay for convenience!

The Tampa area had no hotels and this was the last one available. When I called their systems were down and they told me to book online. When I arrived (very late) they had just got their system back up and told me I would have to wait. The lady said "If you fall asleep in the lobby, we will wake you up." She told me that unfortunately Saddlebrook was getting the "overflow from Tampa." There was nothing pleasant about the check in experience. Another couple arrived and the lady said "Did you book online?" They said no and she said thank goodness and checked them right in. I was finally given a room to find spiders in one of the beds and the air conditioner stopped working at 4am. Called the front desk but there was nothing they could do since no one was there until 7am. I had to pay an amenities fee that claimed I would get a newspaper delivered to my door. It did not arrive. I let the front desk know of my experience when I checked out and the lady asked me if I called the front desk to let them know of the issues and I said of course I did. The lady said I am sorry but that was it. If the attitude of customer service was part of the training my experience would have been more bearable.

Great family vacation with lots to do for adults and kids. Parking is only issue as you have to use the valet service with no self park but otherwise my family had a great experience!

This was a very nice resort. The rooms are clean. They still have older TV's (no flat screens). The refrigerators are older, designed to hold all the snacks and drinks that they used to sell to you when you stay in the room. Well, they didn't have the stuff in it anymore, but it still had the wire racks that held all the stuff. So it was hard to actually store anything in the fridge. Also, they didn't have a microwave. Plenty of outlets (that's important to a geek like me). WiFi was good. The pools are very nice and clean. **Forced valet service. I don't know if you could have actually parked anywhere yourself, but it wasn't evident. You were kind of forced to use Valet. The valet's were very nice and quick and it wasn't that expensive so it's not too bad, It's just a nice to know before you get there. Plus one night, we got home late and there wasn't a valet available and we had to wait for someone from the hotel to come get our car. It is behind a closed gate, joined with a golfing community so it is very secure. If you're a runner, there is plenty of area to jog around safely. If I was going to visit Tampa again, I would definitely think of using this resort again.

Room did not come with refrigerator. Mini bar was not working and wasn't stocked. The info provided to us by the hotel stated the pool bar was open until 1 am. When we got to the pool at 9 pm (on a Saturday/holiday weekend) it was already closed. Valet parking is NOT optional. You can not park your own car and you are charged $10 a day for valet service. I was not told this when reserving my room. It is very inconvenient as well. The walk from our room to the valet was extremely long and we had to wait a long time for our car. I was also charged 12 per person, per day for wireless internet that I did not even use. I ended up paying an extra $70 at the end of my stay for internet and valet service. The food is ridiculously expensive. $40 for 2 cheeseburgers is just way too much. WILL NOT BE BACK! I Do not recommend this hotel.

We HAD to pay $10 valet fee - We could not park or have access to our car without calling for a golf cart to take us to the office. The room was on the second floor - no elevator. Food was ridiculously priced. Fitness Center was about 1/4 mile or so from our room. Even though it was raining most of the time and we could not enjoy outside recreation, we were charged $12 for facility fees. No hairdryer , fridge or micro in room. staff not friendly. Not even continental breakfast offered. Water in room was $7.

This hotel was awesome and I would recommend it to anyone. It is only 15 minutes from Busch Gardens which is where we went. The hotel has so much to do, golf and tennis clinics each day with your stay. The pools were amazing. I have worked in the tourist industry for 25 years and the staff here was some of the best that I have seen.We will definitely be going back as soon as possible

restful and relaxing vacation. It was the best hotel I stayed in, so peaceful

We were in town visiting friends and this hotel allowed us to feel like we were on a great vacation while still being close to family and friends who lived in town. We were there four days so the price was perfect.

The previous comments about this hotel made me think twice before booking, however, I always like to make my own decisions so I decided to be my own judge. And I am exteremly glad I did. ALL reviews said the staff was rude, nasty, ect. We delt with over 25 ppl from the staff from the beggining to the end of our stay and every single one of them was fantastic. They were all more like family then staff. This on top of the fact that the resort was beauitful, peaceful and very relaxing made our stay outstanding. And the breakfast was so delightful that I can not say enough about it, Best EVER! I was spoiled by this stay and now I will hold every other place we stay to their standards. And I consider myself a well traveled person, we have stayed in a lot of hotels, resorts, motels all have nothing on this resort and the staff.

We decided to stay here based on the close proximity to the hilly landscape of san Antonio, FL since we are cyclists from Pinellas County and LOVE the challenge of the hills. The resort was very clean and the staff was very accomodating. I would definitely stay there again!

Was ok. Too far from downtown for my taste. Avoid the week-end, kids jumping around everywhere. The week was quiet and hanging out by the pool was great & relaxing. Orbitz forgot the mention the extra for mandatory overnight/valet parking.

Great staff, great tennis and golf. Rooms could be updated and brighter, and restaurant choices are limited. Overall, a nice vacation. Disappointed that there were no yoga or fitness classes offered.
