My family, including two teens and two pets, stayed here for a week while work was being done to our house and our stay could not have been any better. Our room was immaculately clean upon check-in and the entire hotel is kept up with very well. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Generously sized two bedroom suite with two separate full bathrooms and full kitchen made our entire stay very comfortable. Since we had our four-legged family member with us, we chose not to have daily housekeeping but towels were quickly provided whenever we requested. Complimentary breakfast buffet has plenty to offer for everyone and the all-day coffee service was much appreciated. Coin laundry service on our floor was very much appreciated so that we didn't have a bunch of laundry to do once we got home. These accommodations made what could have been a very stressful week feel like a vacation. Far better than any AirBnB that we looked at and surprisingly much more economical.
We stayed at this hotel the night before leaving on a cruise. The shuttle came to the airport promptly, and the hotel staff was outstanding. A plus for the desk clerks. The hotel is nicely decorated and in a nice area. Our suite had a nice size kitchen that looked well equipped. I would have liked a few options like herbal tea or water bottles in the room. My daughter was comfortable on the sofa bed. The bedroom/bath area was fairly tiny. We were tripping over each and our luggage. The bed was a double, tight for my husband and I, and sagging. I had to fight to avoid rolling into the sunken middle. We arrived at 12:30 pm and needs to sleep in. Having breakfast end at 9 am on a weekend seems excessive—we didn’t get a chance to eat. I went to the lobby hoping to at least get herbal tea there, but this wasn’t an option. Still, it was safe and clean and friendly. Good for a one night stay.
My husband and I stayed there because of its proximity to Steinbrenner Field as well as a friends recommendation! We were thrilled that the field was actually in walking distance with sidewalks all the way there! We had a wonderful stay! It’s was clean and the staff was extremely attentive! Jamie Suddards the Operations Supervisor helped upon our check in and continued to help us with any needs as well as tips on where to go and how to get there! She always greeted us with a big hello and added to making our stay extra special while we were away from home!
We really liked this hotel. We had a one bdrm suite which had a bed in one room with the bathroom and a cot/sofa in the other with full kitchen. It was very clean too. They let us check in early and check out late. Thank you!! We used Marriott points. The beds were very comfortable and the pool area was very nice. I used the gym (3 treadmills), very good. The breakfast was average but it was nice to have it included. We also got a shuttle to the airport the next morning which was great. We walked over to the big mall which was convenient. There are also several restaurants within walking distance so that is great as well. If I stayed there for a vacation, I think it may be out of the way a bit but for an overnight for catching a plane or spending a day (which we did) it was excellent. The front desk staff was excellent. One thing though-and I mentioned it to the front desk fellow- when I'm running on the treadmill, trying to destress, people are talking on their phone very loudly while walking on the treadmill or lifting weights- it made me miserable.... like go outside and talk on the phone- the pool area is right there instead of letting everyone in the small area hear your conversation (manners). The hotel should put up signs over the treadmills saying take your phone calls outside or in the hall. I know its a bit picky, but my workouts are for me and not listening to others (even though I had headphones in). I always end my reviews- would I stay there again- ABSOLUTELY!! It is a great hotel.
I travel a lot for business and have stayed at a lot of hotels in Tampa. This is by far and away the best in the area for service. The staff made recommendations for me about food and each one was spot on forbwhat I was looking for. They really take care of the guests. The hotel looks amazing and you can tell it's well taken care of it. It's not the newest hotel in the area by any means but it's certainly the best of all the ones I've stayed. The rooms are larger, full kitchens, they have social events some nights, free breakfast each morning.
Stayed here two different times while in FL to watch spring training games. First time stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and the second time in a 1 bedroom suite. Both rooms were very spacious and clean. The rooms were partially updated to look modern but you could tell the cabinets and bath tubs were not recently put in. Staff was nice and friendly. Greeted us (Silver Elite members) with waters and snacks as we checked in. Breakfast was good. Had hot selections as well as cold. Parking was free but limited. They have overflow parking somewhere but luckily didn't have to use it. Location is great...couple miles from airport, couple miles from Yankees stadium and Buccaneers stadium...restaurants all around. Despite being near airport, the planes didn't bother us.
This was our first visit to this Residence Inn. We were using certificates (before they expired). I had two certificates & my sweetie had one. We stayed three nights & were glad we didn't have to change rooms since we were using two different reservations. Breakfast was good & plenty of seating. Some of the tables had plugs to accommodate charging phones, ipads, et cetera. Parking was ample but the place was crowded this particular weekend. I asked for top floor (there are 8) but was not accommodated (we were on the 7th floor). As a platinum rewards member for Marriott, I was hoping to get top. There are two elevators which was nice (one sounded in need of repairs--lots of crackling noises every time we were in there). This place is centrally located & not far to get to History Center, Mall, restaurants, et cetera. We opted for no maid service each day & just requested fresh face cloths. Ice maker in freezer is a slide-button on the ice bucket which is turned off when room is unoccupied. It didn't take long for ice to start forming, though.
Went there for a business trip; staff was amazing and informative. Advised of the local places to eat and shop. Informed me of the evening mixers at that location; made me feel like I was at home. I would truly stay there again.
We stayed here overnight before our flight home. We wanted to watch the Winter Olympics, but the TV didn’t work. The front desk suggested unplugging the TV, and replugging it, but we couldn’t reach the outlet. There was no one one call, so we gave up. Other than that, the room and breakfast were nice.
Everything was clean and neat. Breakfast was good and the general manager Susanne came around and talked to the customers and asked for suggestions. The elevators were spotless and the whole staff was helpful.
