Very Clean
If you are a hotel snob, it’s not for you, but basic necessities and good breakfast/place to sleep it’s perfect. No bugs, no stains, clean, good variety at breakfast (waffle maker, eggs, sausage, gravy, toast, bagel, cereal, GREAT COFFEE) and staff were ALL so friendly. Room has a bit of a chlorine like smell if the AC is off for a while, but other than that, great stay, close to everything, safe, quiet, good water pressure

The breakfast area was large and even had a pleasant area outside. Every staff member was not only friendly, but knowledgeable. This is an older property, but well maintained with new carpeting and a few upgrades.
Overall the room and experience was what I expected for the price and location. Staff were lovely and friendly. Air conditioner worked well. The bed was very comfy and clean. Room was tidy and seemed cleaned snd sanitized. Little flies in the room. Toilet needs a new valve. Carpet could use a cleaning. Overwhelming smell of carpet freshener. The biggest improvement would be to pressure clean the sidewalks.
They had a tree service come out and trim trees and they blocked us in for over 30 minutes.. our car was covered in trees branches and debri and when we i went and spoke with the front desk. She did not care
To be honest I was pleasantly surprised. Everything began at the front desk. From accommodating, kind and professional staff to my clean and cozy room. Not to mention the full hot breakfast served. I slept like a baby in which I can't just instantly fall asleep anywhere, but here I did. I'm definitely booking again in the future as I am a traveling CNA.
The air conditioner filter was dusty and found a couple of roaches crawling out of the bathroom.

I very rarely do written reviews, but this one has to happen. On the positive: The staff were friendly, and the bedding was decent. The shower worked well and bathroom was clean. On the negative: The walk to the room set the stage for the overall feeling of the place in the end. Many things needed attention and updating…such as a good pressure washing of all the super dirty cement floor hallways, and overall better pool care and maintenance. It looked as if maybe the pool didn’t have good drainage considering many things floating in it, along w white algae, which was a bit deterring from even wanting to use the pool, despite the high temps. Our room had not a slight, but a strong smoke smell which we fought w candles, sprays, and airing the room out for a couple days. The AC worked just enough, but was extremely noisy all through the day & night affecting our sleep, even w ear plugs. We were told to turn it off for awhile bc it was “overworking” according to staff and would freeze up. Not ideal in 90 degree temps. Furniture in the room was very old and beat up. A cockroach ran across our nightstand as well. Carpet was less than desirable for bare feet. On the other hand, our friends room was apparently one that had been made over. So, there must be some “updating” happening in some of the rooms. We chose the cheapest option for the area, and got what we paid for, and won’t be back. Yet, I’m sure there are others who had a better experience.
Hotel is just ok. Smells like and looks like an old hotel.
Overall, it was a nice hotel. The breakfast was good, my kids loved the pool. Was little upset that the microwave did not work and food was wasted. Very close to food places, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island.
We has two rooms, both were nasty, found nail clippings on carpet, no daily cleaning, only two towels, no toilet paper. 1 star is too much. Absolutely disgusting.

We had absolutely no idea that this company was coming out to cut the trees that day or we would have given all guests enough time to move their vehicles. Unfortunately I was not here on property that day and was not made aware from my owner what was going on.
