A Small Place to Stay

We liked the hotel, but it was very weird. There was only one waiter in the bar and it took them some time to get to us. The food tasted like it was frozen, not fresh made. We found some feathers on our buffalo wings. Our room was nice, but compact. You can tell there was some renovations made there. It had a small pool that got full quick.It was an okay place to stay.

I would highly recommend staying at The Norwalk Inn! When we arrived, the staff was friendly and accommodating, we quickly checked into our room and went to take advantage of the beautiful pool!! After swimming we had a lovely meal at the restaurant in the hotel ( Adams Rib) We asked the attendant at the front desk for a recommendation for dessert and we were not disappointed! We had ice cream right on the water. It couldn’t have been better. This will definitely be our go to place anytime we are in Connecticut.!

Customer service was excellent! However the rooms needs much to be desired. Rooms are dated and not very clean. I had to switch rooms because the original room was not clean. Walls are thin and you can hear people above and next to me. During my 3 day stay my garbage was not emptied at all.

Staff was fine, cleanliness was good. Bathroom was very tiny, lacked hooks to hang things. Restaurant service was unacceptable. Waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged with the wait to be seated sign. Gave up after we were seated and left.

Beautiful property the pool was very nice and clean. The room was nice spacious. The hotel was quiet. However, the restaurant was nonexistent. The menu really isn’t the menu. They had a limited menu of like four items and then breakfast was over an hour waiting for the food while the food was delicious. The service was nonexistent. We waited over 20 minutes just for a glass of water.

My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. That’s the best I can say. It’s terribly outdated…not a USB Port in sight. There were no instructions or channel guide for the TV. I was on the second floor and could hear everything above me and in adjoining rooms. I stayed for two nights and had one breakfast which was good and reasonably priced. If I find myself needing to stay again I will request the 3rd floor…and bring lots of chargers!

Very nice hotel, staff was friendly. The rooms are very small though. And there should be free coffee in the lobby! There was coffee in the room (two k-cups) but you had to pay $3 for a coffee at the restaurant. I was only there for one night on business travel so I didn't take advantage of the amenities.
