The property is very dated and in need of repairs everywhere. The Heating and Cooling system is very loud and not tep specific. Don't try to depend on the wifi it's not even fast enough to check email. All over the property there's No-Smoking signs however the hotel smells like old cigarettes. On a positive it's priced fairly well and the staff was friendly.
Management has advertised fraudulently on orbitz. They do not have rooms with 5 people as advertised. Manager threatened to kick us out of hotel when this was identified. Manager would not listen to concern or attempt to solve it. Would not recommend this to anyone with Greg as Manager there
I have stayed at this property for the past five years attending the Ocean City Bike week. One of the pluses that we looked forward to staying there is because the hotel had a bar and restaurant. After a full day of riding it was nice to return to the hotel, have a nice shower then going downstairs for dinner and drinks. During bike weekend the restaurant was closed because management could not find a bar tender to open the facility, this was very disappointing for our group
The hotel should be closed for a complete renovation. Dilapidated and dirty. Scary place to stay. Stay away!
Bathroom was very very dark Problems with air quality . Floors , dressers were constantly wet
We stayed here three years ago and it was clean and fresh. This time, as soon as the elevator opened, the filthy stained hall carpets greeted us. Our room was not much better. The rug was suspiciously wet and we wore our sandals the whole time because the floor was sticky. The previous guest’s bar of soap and hairs were still in the tub. Our fridge was non functioning so I had to ask for an extra ice bucket to keep food cold. The front desk was fine getting requests met and the staff brought us the extra blanket and bucket. The one other positive were clean and nice linens. I don’t think we will stay here again unless it gets cleaned up. Why do these hotels use rugs anyway? They are disgusting — food, smell, hair. Gross.
The room and furniture needs updating. The bathroom can hardly fit 2 people. The carpet and floor felt wet all the time i was there. The air conditioner was loud. There were bugs under the refrigerator. The dresser looked like it had gotten wet and was peeling. I had a hard tim closing the door because of the peeling wood. One of the handles had come loose and had been loose for a while as it was scratching the drawer above and below that drawer.
Hotel was overbooked. Rooms were not clean and it took an hour to check in.
Staff was excellent when the first room I had the A/C didn't work so they upgraded me. Dog friendly facility, but not much area to walk dogs and the parking lot around the facility was dirty with trash and the area very loud. Room was clean and hotel was clean, and spacious. I would stay here again.
Did not like the smell of stale cigarette smoke in the hallways. Back doors were not locked at night, felt unsafe.
I had a flight a 6:00am; needing to go to the airport ~4:30am. I selected this hotel as the website indicates that offering shuttle service to airport. I was surprised when told that this service is ONLY offered after 9:00am till...,this is a fake service offering. This condition created a big trouble for me and thanks to the front desk personnel, who finally was able to find a taxi service after more than half hour trying to get transportation to the airport.
I checked into this property at 2am and it was the absolute worst experience. I made a reservation months ago and upon checking in and heading to my room after a long day, we were given a room that hadn’t been cleaned. It looked like someone was still occupying it. Then I was given a second room! Upon turning on the lights in the room, roaches scurried everywhere. Needless to say, at 2:45sm I had to trek two young kids across town to a Marriott because La Quintas accommodations were below sub-par. Never again
My room was spacious, fresh and clean. The breakfast area was pleasant and food was good too.
