Booked a Studio suite in advance, advertised with two queens and a sofa bed. We knew we were arriving late at the hotel (near midnight), so we called in advance to request linens, pillow and blankets for the bed having had issues with this at other hotels. We were told it should be in the room, but if not to just call down to the front desk when we arrived.
We check in, go to the room and, lo an behold, no sofa bed. I call down to the front desk and am told that since it was booked on a third party site I get what I get, nothing she can do because she is the only one working and can't leave her post at the front desk. I ask to speak to a manager, she says she called them both and they are asleep and not answering, but I can speak to someone in the morning. I ask for a second room, since I need 3 beds, she offers no discount and that I would need to pay full value of another room. We make do...
In the morning when checking out, the day manager does stop me to apologize for the behavior of the previous night's staff, offers a discount for our troubles and promises I will get an email confirmation. It has been 6 days and I have received no communication, and no refund or discount. Extremely frustrated by our experience!
