Hotel is clean, well laid out, and easy to navigate, with plenty of places to park and nearby access to places. The desk staff was friendly, but unlike of hotels I have stayed at for business volunteered very little about the hotel. I had to ask where and when the continental breakfast was served, they did not tell me how to access the free wifi, I was unaware there was a fitness room until I parked in the lower garage and passed it. The hot tub also seemed to not work and was poorly. lit.
Loud kids next door. High school charter showed up and the room was shaking amen they were running around. Walls are thin and outside noise from Street filters in.
orbit said that my reservation was complete and I add one more day so orbit called and Jim at the hotel front desk said that when I came in it would be register. I came in on Friday around 11pm and Jason said he would live a note to the front desk to reserve my Sunday night . in the morning I spoke with another man I did not get his name and he said Jim did not come in till Monday but if Jason had said that then they would add my one more day. Sunday the same man Indian looking I ask again is may day add. he answered in a hard ton of voice that he had already told me that there was no reservation and that he did not know any thing because Jason and Jim did not do there work. I asked him to lower his voice and he apologized and said well I can add your reservations and I said that the only thing I want so I paid for the reservations that orbit made then he add another day and I paid it too Monday I asked for a receipt and Jim said you would send it to me
The staff lacks personality. Hotel is in process of renovation. Avoid rooms over looking pool. Breakfast was not bad. My biggest cocern is that thermastat on hit water heater is set too high. No danger in shower due to type faucet BUT you will scald yourself if you turn on hat water tap in bathroom sink. Not kidding. Told staff, no action taken by them.
Stayed there just 3 days, in general very good place to stay, little bit pricy but I think that location is perfect and that's better than other inn where I stayed before. They offer great breakfast, and coffee is avaiable whole day (fresh coffee till 6 pm, after that it won't be hot). Free covered parking in the garage, that is behind the hotel.
Staff was friendly and the common areas were clean and well maintained. The room (#145) was clean but the furnishings are worn and dated. The bathroom looked like a remodel was attempted a few years ago but it didn't look like it was well planned or designed. When we got to out room the room was dark and no light switch was near the door. I attempted to turn the light in the bathroom on but hit the fan switch instead and it made a terrible loud racket. I found the bathroom light switch and saw the grate for the ceiling fan was laying in the middle of the counter. The fan was open and exposed with cobwebs stuck inside. In the entry it appeared to have a motion switch to turn a light on but if that's what it was, it wasn't working. Also a light switch on the wall further inside the room didn't appear to work on anything either. The bed was an old flattop style mattress and more firm that I care for but it was ok. Most hotels now have nice pillow top mattresses. This hotel would easily be 4 stars if they would upgrade their rooms.
As always, everything was great. Easy fwy access. Good location for my destination.
A previous visit was great -- this visit in the morning and again when I returned in the evening there was a male staff that was rude and clearly did not want to serve me. Immature and unprofessional.
Since we stayed there before, it met our expectations. The appeal for us is the location. It is near our family, who live in Lake Forest. We have two minor complaints. One, the breakfast is the same every day. They should add something like waffles or pancakes. The second complaint was that we wanted to watch CNN, which is on Channel 6, and we could not get a picture. We notified the front desk and the employee said that they we do something about that, but they never did. Other than the above, the hotel is a pleasant place to stay.
it was a great place for a quick stopover. Others in the area are too pricey or just not up to par. This is a clean and comfortable hotel will friendly staff. Breakfast is a great deal. Will return
Worst hotel experience ever. Never book room htere. Was given smoking room with 2 queen size beds. Worst condition. Booked for non-smoking king size bed. Staff was extremely rude.
Had to switch rooms because bed wasn't made up and room hadn't been cleaned, We were immediately switched to another room, Staff was apologetic, but should offer some compensation for the inconvenience,
The beds were not that comfortable but we found everything we needed and the staff was very helpful. A nice breakfast
Overall the room was fine. The bed was comfortable but I would have preferred full size pillows. The desk work area was spacious and there was a couch, microwave, and refrigerator. Parking was adjacent and no problem. Staff was friendly and the free breakfast was the usual. I got a good discount f and got to use some of my bucks.
All was well until I asked for a late check out. DO Not ask for a late check out here! 12 pm is it. I was told that the hotel was very busy today. Could not tell by the twelve cars in the parking lot but denied an extra hour of rest.
I liked the hotel, its Clean, quiet, Their pricing is too expensive,
To say we were disappointed in this hotel is an understatement. Would not recommend, we give it an “D-”. Upon checking in, our room was not ready… we arrived at 4:00, check-in time was 3:00. We waited 45 mins, and had to leave in order to get to our dinner reservations. We were unable to clean up and relax after a 2 ½ drive. The desk clerk said they were short staffed, and didn’t even offer coffee or anything to ease our discomfort. Moving into the free breakfast the next morning; it was chaos. Disappointing on quality and quantity, if they rearranged some of the items, the traffic would flow much better.
Hotel was clean. Had a nice pool. Good tv's but not enough channels.
Great people, very nice. Great location close to the freeway. Close to shops too.
Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Fridge and microwave, and couch in room was very nice. Breakfast was as good as can be expected for free. Cons were the work out room machines were barely functioning, and hot tub was smal and very awkwardly located.
