It was the first time staying in Manhattan. At first I didn’t like the room. It was small for my party of 5. But at the end of the day we had a great time Ended up loving the hotel. The location by far is the best. Korean town is my favorite. The staff was great. No complains here. Looking forward to staying here again.

Very affordable and great location

I had the worst experience with this hotel. Staff’s lie ended up made me wasted time waiting in my room while I wanted to go out before it gets too late, their dishonestly, attitude… I can’t write whole bad experience here but it was my worst hotel stay ever! I never go back. I know they don’t care. The picture they show of the building is totally different. The front of hotel, I thought I could park and drop off stuff first before go to too far parking that they told me to use but the whole road was blocked and car can’t even go in front of it. Too many tents from restaurants around it and too noisy. People who are staying there smoke weed so hallways smelled terrible with it and some ppl play music so loud. No refrigerator and microwave that I was told they bring later were never there. Things to say are coming up more and more but I just say this was terrible place for this ridiculously high price for this quality. I’m very frustrated and upset with this stay.

I was disappointed with my stay and do not recommend. There are plenty of better, equally affordable hotels in the area, avoid this one. It is a dated property. The area is noisy and very busy all day and night, great for a visit but not to stay in (even a few blocks south is better). Thankfully we were on the top floor so it wasn’t too loud in our room, although we could hear everything from the hallways and rooms next door. Bed was very uncomfortable and blanket was cheap and paper thin. Bathroom was tiny, ugly, uncomfortable and the shower pressure was horrendous. Not adjustable so if you turned it on water immediately went all over the entire bathroom, you had to adjust the thin old curtain just right in order to get it not to leak. Water took ~10min to heat up as well. Hardly any space to move in the bathroom. In general very poor stay here, not comfortable at all, wish I’d stayed at a more modern and clean hotel instead. The desert spot right next door is delicious though. Recommend Hotel Henri a few blocks down.

Very clean and modern. Great location

The only good point is location and comfortable (soft) beds. Noisy, slamming doors. Street noise was terrible all night. The comforter had a big stain (gross!) and no extra pillows when requested (need to swap down pillows due to allergy).

Property was awesome location, especially if attending event at MSG

Very conveniently located to subway, CVS, Restaurants, Macy's, and Empire State building. In a unique area consider Korean town with lots of Korean restaurants with lots of good and interesting food to try.

Rooms much smaller than pictures show, everything is quite old and basic. Area around the hotel is very dirty, noisy, horrible

Quiet at night, clean, comfortable bedding.

they switched us to NYMA, room 1704. 1. cockroach in the bathroom, flies and ants near bed and table. 2. Only one big towel though it was booked for 2 persons 3. dirty iron spoiled a bit one dress 4. placed in top floor next to the rooftop bar, noisy as hell till 1 am. The problem is that they didnt warn us. 3. dirty sheets, green spots from something 4. old room, photos are photoshopped 5. after checking out - no luggage keeping if you travel later, you need to find it elsewhere

The location was great, the room was a little small but understandable for the location.

This hotel has a hidden “facility fee” of $97, front desk manager was a little rude. House keeping service was excellent but definitely will not be coming back to this hotel. 10/10 do not recommend.

Location was great, staff was not too helpful , elevators was slow and hallways smell bad, room near ice machine was noisy

The overall review of the stay was good. I would consider it for next time I’m in NY city.

Upon checking in I had to pay another $128 in hotel fees on top of what we already paid for the hotel. They said it was for breakfast and hotel amenities. I was under the impression breakfast was included and not an additional $32/day mandatory. Also the breakfast was in another hotel across the street and only included one piece of fruit, one pastry, one coffee or tea. It was cheap and poorly done and that fee should have been included in our booking fee. I don’t like surprises to the tune of an extra $130 for nothing at the start of my vacation. Not acceptable.
