particularly if doing broadway shows. Nice hotel. Free breakfast.

Very close to Times Square but not all the noise. Would stay again

Elevator sized room was challenging. Heat/air fan very noisy; I turned if off second night. No USB ports and no adapter plugs available from front desk. Bath lights often refused to turn on. Bathroom offers little or no privacy. If there is room service, nothing in the room tells you about it. In fact, there was no printed info in the room about anything!

the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. the bar tender saturday night in the down stairs bar was not to friendly. really liked the location as right in the middle of it all. would for sure stay here again, room was little small but we knew that going in and really didnt spend much time in room. So overall very nice place, nice location and would for sure stay again

Loved the proximity to theater, staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, brunch was quick and tasty, food upstairs (rooftop) was great; downstairs restaurant food (bar /cocktail lounge adjacent to lobby) was just okay and overpriced. The hallways and lobby area were a bit too dark- maybe a little more lighting? Complimentary water in lobby is a nice touch. Thanks for the great stay/experience. Beds were comfy; toilet ran all night...Overall we were very happy.

I expected a small room at this location and it was, but cleverly laid out, clean and reasonably comfortable. Staff cheerful and helpful. Coffee and water always available in lobby. Dimly lit halls--I'd like a bit more light, please. My only complaint was the free breakfast. Hotel offers a continental breakfast (and coffee was fab, important!). Menu provided if desired. On day 1 they were reasonably generous (you could get two tiny Danish or toast of not good quality bread) with usual coffee and juice. But the yogurt parfait was perfect. With crunchy granola, generous berries and not sweet. Was pleased. Then, the next day they changed the menu. What they did was make it cheap. Only one Danish (and they are button sized) and the parfait was off the menu, replaced with Yoplait type container. Ugh. I get a better breakfast at Comfort Inn. At this price, in this location, they need to do better. The competition offers better. So I hope they see this and go back to their modest, but elegant breakfast. Again, great location. I may or may not return, depending on improvements or cost.

No problems, other than difficulty turning on/off bathroom lights, due to overly complicated switch.

Awesome stay, very friendly staff.Love the roof top - Haven. Music really good. Our room is small but clean and cozy.

We absolutely loved this hotel! The decor and atmosphere are impeccably done and the location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do. It may seem like an odd thing to single out, but the shower head in this hotel was incredible, it was like you were showering under an actual waterfall. The bed was very comfortable, and huge! There isn't much storage, but I usually don't take anything out of my suitcase anyway, so it wasn't really a problem. We definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

I booked the basic room type and It was not that big (but not surprisingly small for NYC standards) but very clean and efficient. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast in the morning. will come back

Great little hotel with a friendly staff and small but very comfortable rooms. It was so nice to walk back to the hotel after Broadway shows rather than finding a cab. Of course you have to be ready to face the Times Square scene . The included breakfast was good and convenient and the rooftop bar and restaurant were lovely. Would choose Sanctuary again.

Great location. Convenient to Radio City and Times Square. Cool vibe heavy, old construction helps block city noise. Most pleasant, helpful staff that I've encountered in NYC I witnessed a positive interaction with a family checking in with children. Free continental breakfast was better than most, and free wifi was fast and dependable (for email & YouTube I'm not a gamer, so can't say). The concièrge helped us with brunch reservations on Sun.

Staff was super friendly. Went above and beyond to make stay comfortable.

The hotel was amazing! Til the moment we step foot into the hotel . The valet guys helped us with our luggage. The manager was extremely helpful on getting us rsvp at the nice rooftop lounge. My boyfriend and I are definitely coming back again! And the location , is perfect! close to times square , and everything else literally 5 min walk .

Wonderful hotel with great location and amenities. Staff was very helpful. We'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

When I first walked into the hotel I received a warm greeting and a hot cup of coffee. My expectations were set high and then plumpetted when I reached my room, which was next to the elevator. You can hear everything in the hall way. I waited over 1 hour for a hamburger and a coke. No utensils, ketchup, or a napkin. Two plastic boxes one with fries, and the other with a cheeseburger that looked like someone picked up off the floor. The bed is on the floor. It's on the floor. The room is very small.

good hotel. good location. reasonable price. good food. friendly staff. close to train and my destination.

Stayed at this charming hotel for a gal's extended weekend. Hotel staff is exceptionally friendly, professional, & helpful.Be sure to request a quiet room (not facing the street or near the rooftop lunge where the music gets loud). Location is perfect- close to theaters, Times Square, Diamond district, & upscale shopping on 5th Ave.

This hotel is perfect if you plan on seeing Broadway shows. Excellent location, helpful staff, clean rooms. A true Botique hotel. I highly recommend it.

room was clean but very small. bed was comfortable but very low to floor probbly to give room bigger feeling
