Walls are thin, mattresses are sagging, and the fixtures in the bathroom were loose and need updating. My rating reflects the relatively high price this hotel charges for their rooms. At this price point, expectations are higher. Other than these factors, this hotel has huge potential, very classy lobby, nice design, great building history and pedigree.

We had a great stay at the Chemist Club Hotel. The Hotel itself is beautiful , clean and the rooms are large updated with comfortable bedding . The staff was kind, courteous and helpful . 5 star VIP treatment by staff with every interaction. The location is top tier ! Around the corner from Grand Central , situated between Park & Lexington and short walk to Bryant Park and subway lines. 5th Avenue 2 blocks away ! Overall I highly recommend The Chemist Club Hotel and any future trips I will definitely stay there again.

The property itself is wonderful, after a long day of running around the city I was super pleased to find that my room was very comfortable! The area around the hotel was quiet which is new for me when staying in NYC. Staff was nice as well! I had a short stay so I didn’t get a chance to check out any amenities but the room quality & proximity to grand central were enough for me to be very happy with my stay.
