This used to be my usual stay in NYC, but no longer. It’s the elevators! There are 3 and they are dominated by the hotel cleaning staff. One elevator is permanently locked for the cleaning staff, however, they are still forced to use the other two. Elevator wait times were way too long

The room was very clean upon arrival. The hotel held bags after we checked out until we had to catch a flight. They allowed us to check in early. Great experience. Right next to Grand Central Terminal for the subway.

The hotel was nice and clean. I did not eat at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the food. The lobby desk area was a bit congested, but overall the stay was ok. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable.

Room was cleaned and restocked every day, that was great. Room was small but livable. Staff was friendly and efficient. The fridge didnt work very well, and I could not find an ice maker that worked. The lights had a large delay upon switching on...made for some confusion there! Overall, I'd stay again if need be.

good price for a double bed in the time we went. I don’t think they vacuum the rugs but every time after going out the bed is always remade and the garbages are emptied. There is no microwave in the room only in the hotel lobby. I rate the cleanliness a 8.5/10. There is a $75 a night charge and then $30 for amenities which is taken out of your deposit which is honestly pretty high but. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall 8/10 not many complaints.

I'm torn. I have stayed at this property a number of times over the years on business. It's very clean, well located (5 minutes walk to Grand Central Station), quiet, modern and rooms are of a reasonable size. A lot to like. We stayed here for 3 nights on a family trip in early January. Unfortunately, I can't get past a few things: 1. The "Amenity fee" (which amounts to nearly $35 after tax) is a nuisance and unnecessary. Over 3 nights, that's just a $100 cash grab. If you need more revenue, include this in your base fee. The Vegas-style "resort fees" have spread like wildfire but doesn't mean this hotel has to do it too. 2. Upon arrival (at around noon), the front desk staff were indifferent to us. No acknowledgement of our presence at the desk (waiting patiently for them to finish whatever it was they were doing). No hello, no welcome... no warmth.. no customer service. It seemed like we were an inconvenience and - that, paired with the nuisance amenity fee - caused me to rethink whether my family should stay at the property. I travel extensively for business and stay at many hotels - my needs are very simple and I generally have low expectations. But.. the front desk team are the face of the property and set the tone for the stay! On the flipside, the bellhop was very friendly and responsive. We encountered staff in the elevators who were friendly and enthusiastic. My review would have been more positive had it not been for the awful check in experience.

The staff was super prompt and helpful. It was a very busy season and they handled it beautifully. A shoutout to the housekeeping staff who were incredible. The location of this hotel and the cleanliness makes up for any shortcomings they may have. I would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

The room was a lot smaller than appeared in picture. We only got 1 day of free breakgast.There was no coffe pot in room we had to close to fast food did not see too much medium price dining. Nit enoughocal food close.ask for 1. Also location was only . Also our itenerary stated dinner too and in fact no dinner was included
