Didn't have any issues with this place. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, and the A/C was cold. I took advantage of the pool and it was fine as well. The hotel is located conveniently within 1/4 mile of Highway 90.

As a person who stays at LA Quinta hotels often. In many states. This one was nice. Just 1 night. As my husband Had time off from work. So we met here with the kiddos. Front desk staff. Super friendly. Nice. No issues. Rooms. Super clean. Beds are comfy. I need one of those comforters. Felt like someone was hugging me. Like the AC that sucker kept the room cold. We were in 102. So close to the front desk. Breakfast area. And couldn't here anything from there. Only issue we had was a few times the person above us stomping. Kids said it was the jolly green giant. Yes. It is an older LQ. But. It is one of the cleanest and nicest. Location good. Right off interstate. We didn't eat breakfast but seems to be the standard LQ set up.

Our family reunion was June 23-25, 2017. We came from all over USA. We checked in on 23rd. Front desk was friendly. However when I awakened on 24th at 5:15am there was a large cockroach on his back in the bathroom, legs wiggling. I awakened my husband to get rid of it. I spoke with some (not all) family members and this is their report: roach in dresser drawer crawling among her clothes; frayed dirty carpet & severely wrinkled bedskirt: dusty headboard; desk chair torn, dirty rickety; toilet leaking on floor to which staff resolved by putting rolled towels on floor around toilet to catch leaking water. By the way, the woman overseeing breakfast was quite pleasant, BUT the door to the storage closet in the room where breakfast is served was propped open revealing broom, mop, toxic cleaning supplies, washer, dryer, & microwave used to heat bbreakfast items!!!!

My husband and I and our 3 lb Chihuahua spent about a week at this LaQuinta. Its about a block from the freeway, so easy in and easy out. Everyone was friendly and nice. There were just a couple of blips. First the good: The bed was comfy and cozy. The linens were very nice quality. The water pressure was good. Breakfast was pretty good and a fair selection. The coffee was good, not like some of those motels where the coffee was like water. No, this was really good coffee. The room was clean, neat and smelled nice. It was bright and cheerful during the day, quiet and peaceful at night. Now the not so good. We were assigned room 202 when we checked in. We were staying a week, so we had LOTS of bags, clothes on hangers, an ice chest, etc. To put it succinctly, we filled the cart. After unpacking, my husband took a shower. He said the water wouldn't drain and was up around his ankles by the time he was done. ick. I had showered earlier, so I was able to wait. I called the front desk and was told the maintenance man would be in the next morning and to call back and they would have him come right up. Next morning I called for maintenance. I was told he wasn't coming in that day, and the desk clerk asked if we'd like to move. Um, well no. My husband had already left for work, and at almost age 70, I was not pleased about the prospect of having to move everything myself. But I had no choice, so I spent the next 30-40 minutes carrying things from room 202 to room 220. That tired me out. My husband was not pleased when he arrived back that afternoon either. But ok, we survived. The next afternoon a bad storm rolled in. Tornado warnings, hail, torrential rains. It was ugly. Since the TV weathermen were saying to get to a low floor, and our iPhones were saying "take cover now", we thought we'd better go down and see if there was a safe room. There wasn't. I asked if there was any room on the ground floor that was surrounded by two layers of walls. The desk clerk just shrugged. There was no effort on her part to get anyone to safety. We have a relative who is a desk clerk at a hotel in Oklahoma. She texted and said that desk clerk had been trained what to do in a situation like this. She should be calling all the rooms and getting everyone downstairs, then she should have put them in the safest room on the ground floor. Well, she did none of that. Once again we survived. The following day I needed to do so laundry. I had seen a washer and dryer on the second floor, so I washed my clothes. Wonder of wonders....the dryer didn't work. Great. Now I had a basket of wet clothes and no way to dry them. I called the front desk to see if there was another dryer and explained the situation. There was not another dryer, but the manager told me to bring my clothes down and dry them in their dryer that's used for linens. That was very kind of her. The day before we were to leave, we went out for lunch. When we returned, housekeeping had been in our room. There was a big white spot of powder on the floor and she had literally ripped the sheer curtain from top to bottom. No idea why, but we had to have the desk clerk come up and take a picture and ask him to call the manager so she would know this was not damage we had done. All in all, even with the glitches, it was a very nice stay. However, maintenance needs to BE THERE and he needs to either keep the appliances working or at least post an "out of order" sign if one or the other isn't working. Would we stay there again? Yes. Would we recommend this LaQuinta to friends or relatives? Yes, if they have a pet with them. Did we feel we got our money's worth? Yes, the rate was reasonable.

We have stayed here every year for a number of years on our annual family reunion visit. We know we can count on LaQuinta for a comfortable stay and such a nice breakfast to start our day off right. Staff is always friendly.

Great, convenient location, consistent with all other LaQuinta's in that it is pet friendly. Staff were very kind and friendly. Everything was clean with no obvious repairs needed. Would stay there again.

Not a bad motel at all. Glad they finally got a La Quinta in Morgan City. We always stay at LQ because they are pet friendly and this one is acceptable. It was clean and quiet but the entrance to the elevator is exceptionally small and cramped. Hard to maneuver a full luggage cart from the lobby to the elevator, especially if there is someone else trying to get through the same space. Elevator is incredibly small. However, the room was very comfortable and clean. Everybody that we ran into was very, very nice here. All of the front desk people were very hospitable and always spoke with us. Housekeeping ladies were all super friendly as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel have been staying there for a few years / friendly and courteous staff / rooms are always cleaned / location was good close to main highway / very few restaurants open at the beginning of the week. Most open Wednesday thru Saturday evenings

Everyone very friendly. Never hesitated to help, whether directions or mailing mail. Never had an issue, very clean and even the breakfast was yummy every single day. Being away from home for 8 days was a breeze!

very good bang for your buck. Hotel was clean enough for business travel, and for the excellent price, it was worth the choice of hotels. Location was in a safe area, and the value of price and accomodations, was very good.
