The place is plain and boxy, but clean. However, the front desk staff was horrible. They demanded a deposit of $200 CASH because we live about 15 miles away. I asked why and she said it was a security deposit. I asked to speak to the manager, who later appeared, visibly reluctant to speak with me. I said that if we didn't trash the place when we stayed here last year, we were not likely to trash the place this year. (Hoping for a smile, which I didn't get.) Instead, the manager told me bluntly, "I don't believe in favoritism." To which I responded, "I'm not asking for favoritism, I'm asking for an exercise of discretion. There's no justification to ask for a deposit from a couple in their sixties attending the jazz festival. Plus, I don't carry cash." The manager responded by pointing to a sign on the wall that said something like "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." I was stunned. Here I was trying to check-in as a repeat customer and instead of being welcomed, I was being threatened. Finally, after some length, we were checked-in, but told that next time we would be required to pay the cash deposit. Needn’t worry, I said. There won’t be a next time. I do not recommend this place. The staff is rude.

We have stayed here several times. Nice clean rooms. Convenient location. Only complaint is that the bathroom fan was very noisy.

Clean and comfortable. Internet is bad. Our room didn’t have a smoke detector on the ceiling. Just a bracket for one. Overall good for a night

Fantstic, personable service and a safe clean room!

The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and everything worked. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only problem was that our key cards kept losing their connection and we had to keep going to the office to get them recharged.

Pretty sketchy area in Del Rey Oaks. Mothers Kitchen is next door is pretty good though. It was fine for my son-in-law and me, but my wife would have hated it.
