Poor check in experience. They didn’t have the rooms we had reserved for. Didn’t give directions to the rooms after check-in. Facility as such was good as well as the area around

I booked this hotel for a special birthday surprise and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. Upon checking in I was initially impressed by the staff, lobby and view of the water. The front desk associate who assisted me advised I had booked the inland view and suggested I could upgrade to a water view for additional $70.00. I took her up on the offer, but when I entered the “upgraded room” I immediately regretted my decision. The beautiful “water view” she had previously described was mostly obstructed by a bird pooped covered roof, trash filled gutter, netting and bars from the floor below/adjoining building. After seeing this, I quickly called down to the front desk to see if there were any other rooms on the same floor or if I could just get my original room back. I was placed on hold for over 5 minutes and ultimately just hung up. We went back down to the lobby and spoke to the same front desk agent. She now had a clear attitude change and seemed extremely uninterested in assisting us. She reluctantly changed our room back to my original reservation and put us in room #1234. As we entered the second room we noticed it smelled like smoke, was musty and had a view of a fence. At this point our initial impression of the hotel was gone. Our overall experience within the first 20 minutes was that the rooms were unimpressive and low end. There was not even a flat sheet on the bed which was shocking. There was only the fitted sheet on the mattress and a comfort

Clean rooms

Beautiful views of ocean and harbor. Sea otters swimming by in the morning, hotel was clean, well kept and the staff were always smiling and helpful.

We could not find one flaw with this hotel. Definitely pricey but obvious why.

I typically don’t write reviews but this hotel was absolutely amazing in so many ways. The level of service was incredible. Staff was friendly, welcoming, diverse and very helpful (we have 2 toddlers). Room was super clean and very comfortable. The ambiance of the hotel was elegant while at the same time relaxing and comfortable. Food was excellent. Location within 10 min walking distance to warf and aquarium. I look forward to staying here again!

The property is old and run down. It needs a deep clean and a remodel. We were put in an accessible room (not requested) that had mismatch tile, exposed plumbing, a broken door, wasn’t clean, filthy and scratched windows, a lamp that kept turning on in the middle of the night, far too many things plugged in and overloading one power outlet. I would not stay here again. I was not asked by the staff how my stay was when I left.

Beautiful views, right on the water, great location!

Love the hotel. Great room. Great staff and service. Did not like the restaurant Schooners. Seated outside in a tent with zero ambience and poor service.

Location was excellent.

A great get-away location for a girls' spa day! Would go back and enjoy more of the property's amenities that I didn't get a chance to.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The way it sits out on the water and all the birds and sea life all around was very pleasing. The restaurants there are really wonderful. We had two of the most enjoyable meals ever there (and we're foodies for sure). Looking forward to coming back. We didn't want to leave.
