location is great. The reception-patio is excellent

As expected, location perfect for access to Fisherman's Wharf, walking distance to the Aquarium, close to choice of restaurants - we did not have to drive during our two day stay.

I have stayed there a few times. Nice place and the staff you can’t beat. The only problem is the noise of the people outside . Don’t know if anything can be done. Maybe if the rooms were more sound proof.

Hallways on room floor dated and dirty looking. No air conditioning, windows only opened a few inches AND opened up overlooking highway, not to mention noise from other guests. Desperately needed ac! Only redeeming feature of hotel was the restaurant. ... it was fantastic and our server. DANNY, was absolutely stellar!

Our hotel was right in the perfect location to get to restaurants, fishermans wharf and local attractions. We would stay there again without hesitation.

This was my first time visiting Hotel. Love the entire experience, specifically the warm chocolate chip cookies. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I have decided to make this a yearly trip and the place I will stay when I come to Monterey! Great I'm fine thank you

Stayed for one night while driving down the PCH ... Monterrey is beautiful and the location of this hotel is ideal. Beds were very comfortable and the hotel offers an array of amenities.. we didn't have the time to take advantage of them though. Staff is very professional and courteous.

Only gripe is parking for hotel is $20 per night. Why isn't it included! otherwise amazing. They treated my family and me great and beyond pet friendly. Comp dog treats and warm cookies when you check in, clean up to date rooms, walking distance to cannery row and downtown, breakfast places near by and k cup machine in the room. Only complain was the parking cost, dogs are an extra 50 + 25 additional nights, if your bringing a dog, call first, then book or Orbitz then call back for pet room. Staying here every time. If you don't care about pet friendly Hotel Pacific is very compatible, and a few blocks away

The room itself was very clean but the construction made our view horrible, plus I had to shut the blinds all day unless I wanted to be exposed to a worker walking right by my window. The location is perfect and I'm sure it will be great when they finish.

Great rooms and very close to everything. The staff are great.

Good construction was loud people were nice good location

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel and neighboring convention center have been undergoing renovations, and the staff seemed to be working hard to compensate for any inconvenience this may cause. My room was very nice, clean and well-appointed.

The hotel is under construction and you can hardly find the entrance to park. Just a bad experience all around.

We spent two great nights there. The hotel was great overall. We were concerned that there was construction going on however we never heard any noise from the site.

We enjoyed our stay. Over all great and comfortable stay.

This is a great hotel. It's very nice because you can walk most any where from it. The rooms are updated and lovely. Once the construction is over it will be a 5 star hotel again! Plus they give you warm fresh made cookies when you check in!!!

We received a very warm welcome and a complimentary upgrade to a room with a large outdoor seating area. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our time relaxing in the room. We ended up booking a second night, last minute, but it was not as nice as the first. The room was next to the town square, and very loud. Additionally, we were woken by the beeping of the smoke alarm that needed batteries. Not a great start to the day. Overall, we had one great night and one night that was average at best and not worth the money.

Wasn't feeling welcome at all during the check-in process, we had a long day drive from LA and it was over 10:00pm...

Nice hotel with large, clean rooms and a helpful, courteous staff. Biggest drawback is the ongoing construction which is expected to last til spring of 2017. Until you got to know the area, it was difficult navigating the streets and finding the entrance to the parking structure. No drive-up to the lobby is currently available, so you need to park in the structure and carry all your luggage through the parking structure and to the lobby to check in. Also, due to the construction, there is continuous noise.

Period stains on bed sheet. No microwave no free wifi no free parking. Small gym, no free spa. Small and shallow pool 31/2 ft
