charming inn, our room wasn't in the pictured house in the main photo but in the inn area next to it, room was spacious and nice, a little warm but they provided a fan and also breakfast

This place is a rip off for stealing my money they basically kept my money after i cancelled 158 dollars for nothing i understand that they have a policy but it shouldn't have to be a complete day stay that's insane and specially during this pandemic time and the reason why i couldn't make it was cause of COVID 19 exposure at work so had to go get tested and u think they carried hell no . It's so easy just to take someone hard working money right. Never go here

Fairly gross. First impression was the almost dead rat gasping it’s last breath on the walkway next to the check in desk. Paper thin walls did provide some entertainment value as we were able to hear every detail of the couple in the next room who were apparently enjoying themselves numerous times through the night. This hotel was clever enough to have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Which meant there was no way to cancel any of our 3 nights booked for a refund. We left early with our unpaid room sitting empty. When I told the clerk we were checking out early he didn’t ask what was wrong or for any explanation. Here merely said “I’m not surprised”. That summed up the experience perfectly.

This is a very nice downtown property. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything is within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The staff were helpful. The only minor problems were: (1) The internet is weak, and the Marriott across the street can displace the signal; (3) An electric tea kettle in the rooms would be nice; (4) Housekeeping failed to come on our last day. We will come again next year.

nice old style room cleanliness parking and breakfast included

The location was great, the site was pretty and the room was spacious. The bed was quite comfortable as well. Breakfast was disappointing - everything was cold food and there was no variety or effort put into it by staff. I wanted a brochure that they were out of and no effort was spent to help me find the information in another way. That kind of stuff: minimal inn keeper involvement.

So close to attractions and the coastline yet very unique setting.

I liked the homestyle continental breakfast hosted by Jason, very nice tables settings and food was fresh. Guests need to know that there is no central A/C or Heat, only a baseboard heater that was a little slow to warm up. My unit had a missing white door handle and there were a few maintenance issues with this older property. Parking: backing in and out of spaces with marker poles was a little challenging to turn around. Overall a B+

Nice grounds. Older but well maintained. Close to harbor and attractions. Walking distance to all harbor attractions.

Lovely little hotel in the heart of old town. This is my new go to hotel for Monterey,

Nice cozy room, good location as it is near a lot of food.

Great hotel! Clean room, comfortable beds, perfect location...we would definitely stay again.

right across the street from the Marriott, where my conference was held. close to downtown and running path. very nice staff. parking and breakfast included. great experience overall!

Very nice, it was centrally located to both downtown and the public attractions. Starr was friendly and helpful. I love the fireplace and the decor was attractive and pleasing.

It was a little hard to drive to but love the off street parking. Check in was fast and the room was quite and clean. It was very comfortable. We had a fireplace, which is why I booked the room but no fire logs that they had ready for us. They usually do but were out and we ended up going and hunting for fire logs at 10 pm, ourselves. The breakfast was nothing special, things you see at main stream hotels for continental breakfasts. I would stay again and recommend to a friend.

Great location and free parking is also amazing considering the hotels in the direct vicinity all wanted to charge. Set back from the street so nice and quiet. Loved the older feel. Only problem was next room guests were loud all night but that's not the hotels fault. Nice breakfast. Would recommend to people.

Hello Luis, as you mentioned your reservation was booked through Orbitz/Expedia...You will have to go through them to receive a refund... they currently hold your money, not us.... if you'd like to call I could do some further research on your reservation, but at this point you should call Orbitz. Thank you.
