The Hotel Pacific is the perfect place to be cozy and step back in time to a quieter and more personable place. It makes you feel at home. It is much more intimate and warm than the big hotels and every time we go there we love it. The rooms are warm and inviting and the staff is awesome. It is the best place on the Monterey Coast.

Rooms were very nice,

There were no coffee mugs available in the room and not enough coffee.

I like that it was quite and relaxing

They charge $20 a night for parking and you can’t even guarantee a parking spot. The room has no amenities, static filled television, the room has no view etc. I expect more from a hotel that charges $600 a night

Location, Location, Location was the reason we chose Hotel Pacific. Close to Fisherman's Wharf and walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The hotel is older but very comfortable, bed comfort was excellent, fire place ambiance is a plus with a romantic dinner. Bathroom was updated and ample size. Parking space is limited, arrive early for a spot. The morning breakfast do need improvement for the price you pay, but understandable due to COVID issues, they provide a lunch bag with an fruit, energy bar and a muffin. However, hot coffee is available. I would stay here again!

Comfy beds

I have stayed here in the past and always enjoyed my stay, however, I miss the wine & cheese and other kitchen amenities.

Very nice property. Walking distance to the pier and lots of restaurants near by.

Room was big and nice to have a fireplace. Common areas (halls, elevators) could use some cleaning and maintenance.

I loved the location, close to restaurants and the wharf. Didn't like the fact that on a weekday we couldn't have been given a room with a view. The room itself was fine, just missed having a view.

The property is starting to show its age. Needs to be fixed up a bit.

I expected better after reading reviews. Alarm in room went off at 5am, trash truck at 7am and VERY LOUD! And we were over the flight pattern, private jets in/out all night. Room was dirty, Spilled stuff in bathroom wall I cleaned up. wine glasses had some brown stuff on them. cob webs everywhere. No attention to detail. On the positive, location, nice curb side appearance.... would Definitely not stay here again.
